Problems with the idea
No, most likely references from real life will not help you, life and the Source engine are very different, and not everyone will be able to repeat a scene from life in Hammer.

Also, if you are not going to do something big you do not need drawings. Ideally, you should have a picture of what it should look like and do it on the fly. If you see that a part of the map looks wrong, delete it and do it again.

  • Make up stories: According to the fifth search result, telling your own invented stories can help ignite your imagination. You can create stories about anything, including the people you see on the street or the surroundings you find yourself in.

  • Listen to music: Another way to develop imagination is to listen to instrumental music and let your mind wander. This type of activity can activate different parts of the brain and help you come up with new ideas.

That's it, we were able to develop imagination, inspire ourselves, next we need not tilt in the middle of creating a map.
I'm tired, I'm fuc*ed up
  • Break it into smaller tasks/goals: According to the third search result, successful people set long-term goals and break them down into small and achievable daily tasks. This can help you stay motivated and on track.

  • Find intrinsic motivation: Instead of relying on external factors to motivate you, try to find intrinsic motivation within yourself. This could be by reminding yourself of the reasons why you started or finding joy in the process itself. The first search result suggests cultivating self-belief, which can help increase intrinsic motivation.

  • Seek support: The eighth search result suggests that we need to accept that we won't always make the right decisions and that we may screw up at times, but it's important to have a support system in place to help us when we do. You can also join online or in-person groups of people who share a similar interest or passion.

  • Take care of yourself: The last search result mentions that it's important to not get consumed by the thing you've been doing and to prioritize self-care. Make sure to take breaks and engage in self-care activities, such as exercise or meditation, to help you stay balanced and energized.
A reminder:
You look at the map, and you think it's full of ♥♥♥♥, and you started it for nothing? Oh boy, you can't make a sweet map without making a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one, try to do what you can from the beginning, put it out, listen to what they write under the map uploaded to the workshop.

So, do you think, or does anyone else think, that more complicated geometry should be done? Look guy, even Valve had a hard time with complicated geometry. Do something simple and add complex geometry as you go along.
I can't do this or that normally
Boy, it's even easier here...

  • Need a house? Learn the principles of architecture, the proper placement of doors, walls, learn what a load-bearing wall is, and what a partition is.
  • Need an underground part, a bunker? Understand what city communication is, play cities skylines. Sewers should be logical, bunkers should be located so that residents can get to it equally quickly from different points of the city, make 1 large bunker with multiple entry points. One from the west and one from the east.
More logic guy, making maps is more work with your head than something mechanical, a creative canvas.
Bonus
Guys, make a 3D skybox, even a crappy map will be great with it.
