The difference between this and HARDCORE version? This only allows infected to spawn during boss sections. The crusher puzzle is also slower.



The Divide: 5th Anniversary Story restores the original vision of the map/chapter 'Beginnerguide' that me and my friend came up with in 2018 for the The Divide: Final Moments campaign that was cut before release.

Why was it cut? We decided at the time that the map was too long so we decided to shorten it since it was a chapter for an already long campaign. So this is the original vision that me and my friend came up with in 2018 before being cut.

The story can be very complicated to understand and that's the way we wanted it, but it is based on a TRUE story between me and my friend Sophie who unfortunately passed away in 2021.

The story is about love, hate, betrayal and forgiveness. I would love to explain the full story but it is very dramatic and I'd rather not give away the full picture. So enjoy this mystery as it has always been since 2018.
