Currently in early access, Day of Dragons has 3 playable dragons and many more on the way. The developers plan to add a number of creatures, all with a wonderful variety of aesthetics and unique abilities. With so many playables planned, there will be a playstyle for just about everyone.

This guide is a basic overview of all currently planned playable species. More in-depth guides for each species may appear in the future, but the DoD Trello Roadmap[trello.com], Discord Server[discord.gg], and Steam Dev Blogs all contain useful information. The discord community is especially helpful for staying up to date with announcements and development, and it is the best place to check if you have questions or are looking for additional information.

The game features two playable factions: Dragons and Elementals, the two factions being mortal enemies of each other. Several species are already available to play; more are currently in testing and many are planned for future updates.
