Intro to the Guide
This was previously named "Every Region's Scan Collection List", but was changed with the animal system overhaul that the Vita Nova update introduced

Thank you for reading this guide! I hope this helps a lot. When I created this guide, there were about 3 other guides to the game, and the only one for the animals was in another language that I did not know. Using google translate didn't help much either . So thus, I decided to make this guide to make it easier to get 100% in each region! This is information that you learn via trial and error, since at the time of writing this, it is not given in game until after you discover the animal.

Here is the general format I'm using in this guide for each animal. The animals will be listed first by region, then by map (some animals are found in multiple regions/maps). The animal will then be followed by a short description from the game, and then a list stating the requirements, followed by the type of item/tile is needed and how much.

Animal - animal description
- Territory size
- Requirement 1
- Requirement 2
- Requirement 3
- (Note: any difficulties I had and how to overcome them yourself)

And onto the regions! I hope this helps!

@RubyDead_Queen the kelp forest would grow on its own in clean water
RubyDead_Queen 22 Nov, 2023 @ 5:24pm
where is there a kelp forest in the continental region?
Dayison2 11 Apr, 2023 @ 1:59pm
I keep getting a message "outdated" when I scan an area that would otherwise work. But I can't figure out why. Does anyone know the cause/fix for this?
LeeThePhoenix  [author] 1 Apr, 2023 @ 12:58pm
I have had the tower count both before and after recycling it into the bamboo nursery
Singularity 1 Apr, 2023 @ 10:28am
I believe that the bamboo tower has to be recycled first before it works for the eagle
ION 1 Apr, 2023 @ 4:10am
Got it, i need < 5 deg C
ION 1 Apr, 2023 @ 3:59am
How to create continental kelp forest?
Time Drake 1 Apr, 2023 @ 2:14am
Narwhale was the hardest, I would never had figured out that you need the temp back at -10
LeeThePhoenix  [author] 31 Mar, 2023 @ 11:07pm
Actually not! You can convert it into the bamboo tower, but you need at least 2/3 of one tower within the circle of the scanner
surzhykKorektor 31 Mar, 2023 @ 10:55pm
Ohhh... the Eagle doesn't count if the Derelict Skyscraper has been converted into a Bamboo Tower, you have to leave at least one "intact" for it.
