How to read this guide
Each category is sorted into Decor, Cost, and Best Decor per Coin

The items are listed top left to bottom right.

Bolded ones are the best decor per cost in-game for improving your decor rating.
It's based on decor rating / coins but of course it does depend on space/aesthetics.

Lower negative amounts don't really have any effects on the cost, but I'd suggest keeping negative decor further away from customers and positive decor.

See the last section to show some examples of decor interactions.

Decor Tests
I did some quick testing to see how different decorations interact with each other.

Saxophone (100 decor)


Saxophone (100) and Mouse trap (-40)
Negative items start to cancel out positive items on the circle on the ground


Sidewalk Chalkboard (35) and x3 Mouse traps (-40 each = -120)
Areas start to get redder on the ground and cancel out the positive decor


x2 Mouse traps (-80) and x6 Chairs (0 each)
Saxophone (100) and x4 Bar Stools (0 each)

x6 Mouse traps (-40 each = -240)
Decor score will go through walls


x6 Mouse traps (-240) and x12 Saxophones (100 each = 1200)


Finally... x5 Mouse traps (-200) and Saxophone (100)

Just construct carpet floors for 5 per square, they ultimately max the decor.
