Introduction
As always, SCS presented the new DLC with the help of a trailer and at the same time started a community event with #CruisingKansas[blog.scssoft.com], which runs until 28 January 2024. This guide is a part of my American Truck Simulator 100% Achievement Guide and contain huge spoilers! If you want to figure it out by yourself: DON'T USE THIS GUIDE!


If you purchased the DLC at launch, you was able to get a Tiger Salamander Plush, if you linked your Steam account to your World of Trucks profile and delivered one cargo from or to Topeka. In addition, if you participated in the community event, you could receive a new paint job - Sunflower Sunset - if you delivered freight to or from 14 different cities (=all) in Kansas, and if the community goal was reached, you could also receive a Amber Sunflower to decorate your cab.

Deliver an Aircraft Wing and Jet Engine Inlets to or from every aviation depot in Wichita


There are three ('Darwing', 'Wichita Sky Harbor' and 'Global Sky Service') aviation depot in Wichita. You need to deliver to or from every company the cargo in the description:










It looks like you can deliver with an Wooden Lowboy trailer Aircraft Wings and with Flatbed trailers Jet Engine Inlets.

Discover at least 3 unmarked roads in Kansas


There is a excellent guide from FelipeVinhao, where you can find a lot of hidden roads counting for this achievement.

Complete 6 deliveries from the Hutchinson Salt Mine in Kansas. At least 2 deliveries must be to a Food Factory


This one is a bit tricky. You have to deliver from 'NAMIQ'. The 2 deliveries to the Food Factory seems to be 'Flavorfair', the other 4 can be anything to everywhere, but all deliveries must be inside of Kansas. The percentage of getting one contract to Flavorfair seems to be very low. Flavorfair Food Factories seems to be, if the comments are right, at Hays, Salina, Junction City and Topeka.



Tipp: With an Sliding Tarp as trailer its easier to find a job, but its still rare. Thanks DeroOo for this hint. A Dry Van trailer worked fine for LOONATIC.

Deliveries to cities in Nebraska seems to work too.

I think it doesnt matter. They make the achievements a lot easier with the latest update.

I see 0/4 progress on Air Capital of the World. One of the companies got removed or it doesn't matter which 2 out of 3?

Grain of Salt : This achievement annoyed me so much that I had to use the console, very practical and a great time saver for making complicated and long achievements, and yet I play without them because it no longer gives interest to the game, I really use it as a last resort.

Hey guys, I want to confirm one more insight on Grain of Salt achievement - I've been stuck on 5/6 for couple of weeks and I've tried numerous cargos to deliver from NAMIQ in Hutchinson. I even tried Salt from NAMIQ in Hutchinson to Flavorfair in Hutchinson, but it was still 5/6. Then, according to comments here, I tried something different and I tried to deliver Salt for the third time, but not to Flavorfair in Kansas. Instead I went to Flavorfair in Lincoln, NE and it counted finally to 6/6!

I got credit for delivering a cargo of salt with a Dry Van from NAMIQ in Hutchinson to Flavorfair in Springfield, Missouri, so I believe you can deliver outside of Kansas for the Grain of Salt achievement.

You have to pick it up in Namiq inside Kansas. I meant you can deliver the cargo out of the state of Kansas.

So it doesnt need to be from NAMIQ and inside of Kansas anymore or just inside of Kansas is no longer neccessary?

Thanks! 1 comment on the Grain of Salt, I delivered one with a Insulated trailer between Scottsbluf, Nebraska, to Flavorfair and it counted, it was a Cargo Market load.

Another "make life easier" thing. If you do the two hidden roads on this guide, and then just head north of the highway interchange for sunflower mountain, you'll get the 3rd road you need for "Can you keep a Secret?"
