Overview

1) Go into any gameplay stage except pvp

2) Turn off your Gen Z ADHD for a second and you'll realize there's a SCROLLBAR, WOWZERS!

1) Go into any gameplay stage except pvp

Story mode, coop, jakob, main event, regular events, everything.

Notice there's a big pause button in the top left. Click it.

The reason we can't do this in PvP is because the button is not there.

You can scroll down in that options screen and there's a bunch of options, INCLUDING AUTO AIM.
WOW!!!

You could've done this.
I figured this out by myself.
No one has taught me this.
But you instead just complained in the forums.
Shame on you.

3) Explaining all the other options

Damage Numbers - Toggle the numbers that pop when you do / receive damage / heal
HP Display - Toggle the HP bar above your char. the one on the left stays.
Precise Jump - Couldn't quite understand this one, but the jump does feel a bit "heavy", more akin to the classic games
Charging Aid - Characters with a charging skill (like 90% of all X variations) will automatically keep it charged as you press the skill button. if you disable it, you'll have to hold it.
Automatic Aim - Toggles auto aim, the point of this guide.
Manual Aim - Toggles manual aim.
Double click to go down - Allows you to go down a platform by pressing down twice instead of Down + jump
Double click to sprint - Sprints by pressing a horizontal direction twice instead of the direction + dash button
Button tip - Toggles the joystick button icon under the skills / weapons in the HUD
Transparent - Increases the alpha transparency of the HUD buttons.

Also, if I may add, some weapons will still have auto-aim effect, like the Miracle Blade's genmu (arc beams)

Thanks, this really helps! NOW it feels like Mega Man! I don't understand how we can have guides like this, wikis, how-to vids, ENDLESS search mediums, and yet people STILL complain about not being able to find or do something! Also, I love that "Turn off your Gen Z ADHD" is actually a step! Prop, man, this is awesome!
