OCvC Firetail is an agile and versatile light cruiser built with new-generation technology. It can be classified either as a massive destroyer or a reconnaissance vessel. Of course, this doesn't take away from its offensive capabilities.
The LC5-type designs marked the end of the "anti-air platform" era in favor of a more universal development approach.

Following its modernization, the ship received upgraded onboard systems and new SSTL17 M3 torpedo launchers, returning to service as a dedicated reconnaissance vessel.
