Description

Starting out as the Ford Five Hundred for the 2005 model year, this design was intended as a mid cycle refresh for the 2008 model year but was renamed to the Taurus after Ford was criticized for ending production of a trusted name for the 2007 model year. This generation of the Ford Taurus lasted only 2 model years until it was replaced by its final generation in 2009 for the 2010 model year.
