This mod changes both the size and generation features of almost all islands in the game, excluding the starting islands so as not to complicate carrier and barge launches.

All island sizes have been at least tripled - most islands will now be between 3-5 km across, and have more interesting and diverse features available in an attempt to diversify ground game-play with a need for different tactics depending on the situation.

Current "biomes" available through this mod:

Archipelagos
-These feature strings of smaller sub-islands separated by small rivers and channels, with the centre generally featuring a high, central plateau.

Large Verdant Biome
-A sprawling, grassy biome with broken, varied coastlines and pockets of dense forests; these biomes are among the largest in this mod.

Desert Biome
-The desert biome is now generally a massive expanse of sand with occasional cliffs and terrain height changes, but few features and very little cover.

Snow Biome
-This biome comes with rocky, uneven reefs and coastlines, it's land occasionally covered by large, dense pockets of pine forests separated by empty expanses of snow.

Tundra Biome
-Similar to the snow biome, but has more of an arctic feel - flatter, and with less trees, essentially a snowy version of the desert biome.

Lava Fields
-The lava biome has grown significantly, featuring large, undulating terrain pockmarked by lava-pools, channels and geysers.

TLDR:
some ui enhancer versions are fine, and a crash when loading in units is related to some kind of performance/script issue with ui enhancer, likely because the whole game isn't really optimised for this size of island

I'm currently using rhimens qol pack with it's version of UI enhancer; seems to work without issue with the UI enhancer version on that one.
I have a feeling that all the packs using UI enhancer seem to feature different versions that are slightly different from each other.
As to the crash, I honestly don't know. With no debugger it's quite hard to figure out - though it's likely due to a performance related issue with the scripting in ui enhancer.
I can't fix that - even if I did make my own version of UI enhancer, UI enhancer not my mod and I shouldn't do that without permission, and it's also not going to mean that this mod will be incompatible with ANY mod or modpack that uses UI enhancer/changes ui features

are you using one of the ui or qol mods, @opper-pax?
When I was first making the mod, I noticed a few crashes when loading in the island, specifically when ai began loading in.
I think there's an incompatibility with one of them, but I can't be one hundred percent sure, as atm there seems to be a lot of crash issues with the game for some

somehow this mod isn't stable for me, i tried it and in the very beginning of starting a new campaign. there is a large CPU spike when loading/rendering a new island and causing my game to crash.

I kept the starting islands at their original sizes, so there shouldn't be any issues with the barge spawning inside the island.

Does this have the problem of having barges spawn on land or nah, seems groovy
