#1 - Find a friend / partner
Now the title might get you to panic easily because of social anxiety or rather online interactions (joke). But you need a partner that plays the game and has finished mission 20-21 and has an open FOB1.
If you don't have a partner and you're looking for one you should check this Link Its a groupchat link for those who are looking to find partners to get the golden nameplates. Its brand new soo.... it might need some overhaul in the future and people joining in (Also note that I wont be helping people 24/7 for golden nameplate). Have fun :)
#2 - Like the literal number 2...
Find said friend or partner in the trainings section
AND PLEASE USE THE VISIT! by clicking on said friend that you want to try this on!
Then, after spawning, knock an guard that you see to your liking (preferably if they have s++... poor Proto..)
Fulton him!
Then… you will get scolded by Miller and get a wormhole open to your buddy. After that, all he has to do is attack your platform. Preferably, I would suggest making it so that one of your platforms is level 0 with no guards or if you want to give staff to your friend, you could also give them swimsuits and level 1 grade guns. With this, you can actually give resources to your friend. Which should have been an option considering you can do this in Peace Walker.

#3 - 1984
Now that you and your friend has done most of this stuff listed, one of you has to attack the other and any damage (like stealing or getting caught) can make it so that the defender gets an notification of said action. After that, the defender should join but not interfere with the attacker. If attacker dies you have to go back few steps back and no one wants that?. After defender joining the attacker then should head towards the FOBs heart. You can get your nameplate after your first win against a defender, quickly head over to the events tab and claim your nameplate. I don't remember if you had to claim rewards. But you should still check.
And you're done I guess...?
But additionally you can keep doing this (if you have no life) to get the different tiers of said nameplates. Depending on the event period, with it being necessary to infiltrate once, 10, 30, 100 times, depending on which rank of nameplates you are looking for.

And now you have it... hope you're proud to show off your cool nameplates to your attackers by simply waving the flag saying ''Get me! I'm dangerous!''
#4 - 2+2 = 5 (promos)
So... have fun? I don't know if you are really that lazy to do all of this just to get these nameplates. But you'll look cooler :)

I made this guide by testing and then quickly writing it. This guide worked as far as I remember. Thing is that; to get a nameplate you have to win against an enemy player that is infiltrating your FOB. Which is hard unless you got a nuke, and again hard because most of the players that spam FOB are tryhards or russian hackers. Hence the #1. What it does is cause an friendly fire and allows your friend to attack your FOB. That way you can also steal soldiers from friends too. But yeah, keep me posted :) I'll be sure to add or remove things in this guide accordingly.

tbh it was said, allegedly, in 2019. I'm guessing there's *a* way to still get them, as people are, but maybe this isn't the way. I'll do some tomfoolery following this guide later and try to keep you posted

Oh? I didn't know about that. I could delist the guide if it got updated to that. Wouldn't want this to stick around like a sore thumb if the said changes happened.

Yeah, not sure exactly why the nameplates are how they are. I couldn't find anything that suggested they were limited time or anything, just that suddenly they announced you'd no longer be able to acquire them from just regular FOB events

Yeah. I used to post regular MGSV videos, then as my content shifted (and my focus) I privated them all. It is pretty easy to get them, if you have a friend that is. (I know the pain)

Videos are all privated, as well as "event periods" being ended for nameplates as of 2019 (last one could be wrong, it's what I've been reading coupled with my own inability to get nameplates following this or any guide)
