That is all good, as long as it works, thanks so much
Cynic 0055  [author] 2 Dec, 2023 @ 10:58am
But yes, you can also still unlock Achievements on Steam when in Offline Mode as well.
Cynic 0055  [author] 2 Dec, 2023 @ 10:56am
Hang on, I might have messed up, 90% sure it was patched. I went to look at my guide for Part 2 for more description where I explain the bug & I replaced it saying that the bug has in fact been fixed. In theory you should be able to unlock all Achievements perfectly fine now without worrying about being online. Sorry about the confusion.
J_PERRO_215 2 Dec, 2023 @ 10:54am
so I got it in offline mode and if I play the game regularly it should just unlock the achievements on steam normally?
J_PERRO_215 2 Dec, 2023 @ 10:33am
Great now I am going to ask how to put the app in offline mode
J_PERRO_215 2 Dec, 2023 @ 10:30am
That is what I meant, so to get the achievements to work you just need to put the app in offline mode and start playing and everything should work?
Cynic 0055  [author] 1 Dec, 2023 @ 11:58pm
Oh, just that for ME2 & ME3, if you use the EA App in online mode it automatically unlocks every single Achievement... on the App, which then prevents you from unlocking them in Steam because it tricks Steam into thinking you have already unlocked them. The only way to get the Achievements to unlock is putting the App into Offline Mode or by downloading a legacy version of Origin.

That is what I thought you meant by asking if Dragozing needed to use Origin to get the Achievements to work.
J_PERRO_215 1 Dec, 2023 @ 10:21pm
Cynic, what EA App bug are you referring to if the achievements still do not pop?
Cynic 0055  [author] 1 Dec, 2023 @ 5:32pm
Are you asking if the "EA App bug" has been fixed, J_PERRO_215? I saw a comment on my Part 1 guide that EA finally fixed it... but I haven't seen anyone else confirm it being fixed. Anyone is welcome to correct me if I am wrong (please), but as far as I am aware at the moment, the Achievements for ME2 & ME3 are still (Censored by Steam) up & you need to use the app in Offline Mode for them to register. :Garrus:

@Dragozing, Did the achievements work for you or did you have to use origin?
