-A very deep hole that seemed endless
-A small "ocean" surrounding the pit
-no navmesh, because it doesn't make sense in a pit map, even if the map had navmash, it would bring absolutely nothing to NPCs
-but if you still want navmesh type "nav_generate" in the console, it shouldn't take that long to generate
-funny to throw down ragdolls

It is a recreation of the lost map "The Pit".The original map was created in 2015 and was deleted in the period 2017-2018.
Nobody knows why.
And nobody knows who made the map.
And no one had a reupload for this map
The map is 98% nearly the same map as the original.
There was only 1 video on Youtube where the map could be seen.
I took my time to copied the map 1 to 1.
i had a bit of experience with the hammer editor so it wasn't really that hard except for a few bugs which i fixed after what felt like weeks.
The only small difference is that the original map used textures from half life 2 episode 2.
The current ones are almost the same. It shouldn't bother anyone




You can change the map as you like but because the original creator is not known and probably never will be.
I take the credits and would like it if I was linked if someone changes the map or reuploaded it if I'm forced by the original owner to take the map down
