This is short page about my controls layout. Why does it look like it looks, makes no sense for you but me

Cool! Then it's time to remember yet again that this game is a sandbox and you can edit whatever you want! Simply open workbench, and play a 3yo kid's minigame of following some logic lincks! No math or complicated logic involved!

Seriously though, that's in the game basics. I'm sick of people treating published sandbox creations as a closed products. I just don't get it.
Origins
I forgot what I'm on about... Ah yes, controls

Long story short, I have a lot of experience with Radio Controlled model planes. And the way you control RC model, you guessed it, with a transmiter! Mine chose was this exact Flysky fs-i6.

On most dual 2 axis remotes you have sticky vertical axis on the left joystick, that's for throttle no brainer.

The right joy goes for tail surfaces, that way you have full directional control on one finger, and, it's almost intuitive; stick to the right, plane turns to the right, stick to the down, plane goes down etc. Best way to remember is to treat right joy as if you were looking at plane from behind, and joystick "controls" nose of the model.

Roll is on last free axis, left joy horizontal.

Translating to keyboard
So how that translates to keyboard?

Well, like that.

Left joy is WASD group, right joy is Arrow group. W/S, Up/Down are placed vertical on most of the normal keyboards, so they take vertical axis, same case with horizontals. And there you have it, W/S is throttle, A/D is roll, Up/Down is pitch, Left/Right is Yaw.

TL;DR
So, these controls are og rc controls, and not "real yoke" translation. On a real stick, yes, you pull stick to pitch up, it's very natural feeling when you fly the real aircraft (I have no such experience though). On rc remote, you A; don't have any feeling of aircraft's attitude, B; you have 2 joys instead of 1 joy and lever.

And, as for keyboard, same A and B.

Now, I'm aware of QEWASD12 controls scheme, it's cool and all, let you control plane with one extended key group and additional 2 keys for throttle. I think it's perfect translation for real yoke plus throttle lever. For me though, they are too clumsy and you can't control yaw and roll at the same time in the same rotation.

And, once and for all, I am RC guy, and this sceme is hardwired in my brain, so it feels the most natural to treat stormworks plane as RC model
