Overview
American Roads Continued (ARC) is a continuation of the mod by Iowa, American Roads. I was never personally all that happy with them, so I started this project.

This project adds smaller sidewalks and new textures, more realistic pavement textures using in game ground textures, more road options like whether you want sidewalks or no sidewalks, boundary lines or no and much more.

There are 3 different base textures that the mod works around: Standard (Asphalt, using Asphalt 2 from ground textures), Weathered (Cracked Roads, using Asphalt 3) and Grooved Concrete (using custom textures).

Unfortunately, Transport Fever 2 has a very limited road system and I've done my best to work around these issues.

Railroad Crossings
Unfortunately, as I mentioned in the overview section, the roads are very limited in features and design.

Between the crossings files and the roads, there are no specific categories just for railroad crossings road textures. The road files considers railroad crossings and road intersections one in the same, while the railroad crossing specific files call attention to a single texture that falls between the rails.

My best approach, was to create a separate list of roads exclusive to the asphalt and weathered roads. Because texture reasons, the Grooved Concrete roads don't have these issues.

The crossings roads have no assets and only options are the size of the road, whether is the directions of the roads, whether it has sidewalks (town roads only) and if it has a boundary line. These only cover the Town and Country Roads, interstate roads do not have crossing specific roads.

Model Citizen's Crossings
These I had to add patch files to, otherwise the crossings were in the middle of the road. They're in the ARC Steam Workshop Collection.
Bus Stops
There are 3 different bus stops. Era A & Era B are signs, while Era C (actually B but are still used today) which come out in 1960
