This is a guide going over all the secrets in The Golden Souls 2, I will be going over where the Star Coins are, where the Golden Spiders are (don't worry there's no spiders in this guide), and where all the Secret Exits are.

Basic Info:
Star Coins, there are always 3 in every level with two exceptions, those being Spider Mansion & Astral Accomplishment.

Golden Spiders, there are 10 in every Ghost House. In order to collect Golden Spiders you first need to kill them, shoot them, melee them, doesn't matter any kind of damage will cause them to die so you can collect there skull.

Secret Exits, these are sprinkled all through out the game, they're usually hidden and have Red Switches to distinguish them for the normal exits. There is one exception but we will go over this later in the guide.
1 - 1: Green Plains
Star Coin 1:
Before the path splits you'll notice some vines on the side of a cliff. You can climb down these vines to find your first ever Star Coin, then you can just climb up the vine and continue on your way.

Star Con 2:
Now on your way to hit the first switch you might notice some platforms leading to the side of the cliff that the switch is on. Hop on these platforms you'll notice a hole in the side of the cliff with the second Star Coin in it.

Star Coin 3:
After making though the hedge maze, turn around, you'll notice a tree on a small outcrop that you can jump on. Jump from the tree to the top of the maze wall, you should notice an area in the maze that's completely walled in. Jump down and you'll get the third and last Star Coin of this level.
1 - 2: Water Cave
Star Coin 1:
This one is obvious you won't miss it, it's free just jump up and take it, just don't land in the death pit.

Star Coin 2:
In the under water section whenever you get to the exit of a room turn around and check for a hole in the wall, you'll know when you find it.

Star Coin 3:
The last Star Coin is under water in the last area of the level, just swim around the islands and you'll find an opening with the Star Coin.
1 - 3: Groovy Grotto
Star Coin 1:
While exploring the cave you'll find some wooden polls you can platform on that lead to the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
This is pretty obvious, you just need to run past all the crushy parts without getting crushed to death.

Star Coin 3:
So you'll see a Star Coin blocked by so bars, continue on and you'll find a switch that opens some bars blocking your path to the exit. However this switch also gets rid of the bars blocking the last Star Coin.
1 - 4: Oriental Garden
Star Coin 1:
After going through the first building you'll find a mini pond with a bridge over it, diving into the water you'll find a hole in the wall. In that hole you'll find the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Later in the level you'll see a large wooden pillar with platforms sticking out of it. Normally you just use the platforms to get through the level, however if you were to, oh I don't know, jump on top of it and you might see that it's partially hollowed out with something Shiny inside.

Star Coin 3:
Now somewhere in the Hedge Maze you'll find a Star Coin behind some bars, later on you'll find a regular plain old bush, but behind that bush is a hidden switch. Hitting the switch will remove those bars letting you get the Star Coin.
1 - Fortress: Calescent Castle
Star Coin 1:
Now the first Star Coin is easy to find but hard to get. There's actually a super small ledge in front of the cliff across from the Star Coin that'll allow you to jump to the Star Coin without falling into the lava.

Star Coin 2:
Later in the level you might notice a hole in the wall. This leads to a difficult platforming challenge that awards you a Star Coin for beating it.

Star Coin 3:
In one of those Rising Lava areas you might notice a hole in the wall that's low enough that lava will fill it and oh boy would you not like to have to rush through that tunnel to grab a collectable before the lava rises and kills you. Now that we got that you've imagined and possible visualised this hypothetical scenario, time to rush through that tunnel to grab a collectable before the lava rises and kills you.
1 - Shop: Time For Your Reward!
Meet up with your buddy crash make plans for another death-match tournament and then claim your reward!

Behold the Golden Pistol! It's like the old pistol but Shinier and more deadly!
To claim it all you need to do is collect all the Star Coins in World 1 the same goes for all the other weapon upgrades for their corresponding Worlds.
1 - Ghost House: Spider Mansion
Disclaimer:
You require all the Skull Palace Keys to get all the Golden Spiders.

Golden Spider 1:
In the entrance there's a stair case with a Golden Spider above it.

Golden Spider 2:
In the first room to the left of the entrance, it's sitting on a pile of gold coins in the corner.

Golden Spider 3:
On the table in the dinning room? wine cellar? Well whatever this room is the Golden Spider is on the table.

Golden Spider 4:
In the room where the entire floor is treasure, there's a smaller room in the centre that has a Golden Spider in it.

Golden Spider 5:
After getting the 4th Golden Spider you should enter the Blue Skull Door in that room which opens to the next Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 6:
This is is up on the ceiling near the corner of the library.

Golden Spider 7:
While exploring the mansion you'll come across a room with a small wooden tower, hop on this and you'll be able to see another Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 8:
This one is in one of the backrooms right next to a painting covered with webs.

Golden Spider 9: (Okay so this one does show a few spiders just so you know)
Eventually you'll come across a room with multiple paintings of Golden Spiders however one of them is actually a real Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 10:
And in a corner right across from a dopey looking fish.

DOPE FISH LIVES!

???:
There's a big mysterious door that we can't open, oh well, it's probably nothing.
2 - 1: The Land With No Name
Star Coin 1:
So after the first cave/canyon you'll exit to a cliff, looking off the side of the cliff you'll find some Really Hard To See And Super Small platforms sticking out of the wall.

These will lead to mostly likely many deaths, but after multiple attempts to make it across you'll get the Star Coin, luckly there's a teleporter so you don't have to worry about platforming across the
Really Hard To See And Super Small platforms sticking out of the wall.

Star Coin 2:
So after that, you go back inside another cave/canyon, where you have to hit some switches and next to one is hole in the wall above the

Stand on the button, then run across the canyon to wall that opened reviling a secret treasure trove that also contained the most powerful treasure of all time a collectable!

Star Coin 3:
So the town's well is out of water, now personally I think there are more important issues with The Town With No Name but I digress.

Anyways we need to get water, so of course we checkout the Saloon now the first thing you should do is order a drink, however doing so will cause a cut-scene where you say "give me a drink, barkeep" followed by the bartender to give you a dirty look before sliding a drink across the table so fast that you only have about 4 frames that you can actually click on it so you'll be forced look on in horror as it crash into the wall and shatters into a million pieces.

Anyways so after that you should check out the balcony which allows you to climb onto the roof of a few buildings.

And one has a hole in the roof that you can drop down into and ht a switch that (apparently) fills the well with water and now finally you can dive into the well and get the last Star Coin.
2 - Ghost House: Arid Abode
Star Coin 1:
In the underwater area look for a little air pocket above. Go though and you'll find the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
There's a room with a full-health pickup, except it's actually an enemy. Oh well, in that room you might notice some carpeting coming out of the wall. That is a fake wall that you can crawl through that leads to a Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
When you're outside look for the graves, you might notice that one of them is empty, hop in. This will teleport you to a nice area with some lovely greenery, and also the last Star Coin.

Golden Spider 1:
At the entrance to the basement you'll find the first Golden Spider on the wall.

Golden Spider 2:
The next one is on one of the bookshelf in the library

Golden Spider 3:
Right by the orange Skull-Key door is the next one.

Golden Spider 4:
One is on the ceiling in the dinning room.

Golden Spider 5:
There's one behind a box in front of the stairs.

Golden Spider 6:
In the looping room, keep checking under the platform as you solve it.

Golden Spider 7:
Outside the house near the graveyard you'll find the next one hanging over the graveyard on a wall near by.

Golden Spider 8:
This one is hidden in the room before the under water section, it's behind some webs in a pile of boxes.

Golden Spider 9:
Right before the outside area with the graveyard is a room with a chimney. Crouch, walk in, look up.

Golden Spider 10:
In the cave section land on the platform right before the switch and look at the nearest wall.

Secret Exit:
In the looping room, look for the red arrows pointing to the door you come out of as you solve the puzzle. Follow them, they will take you to a switch.

Flipping that switch will raise the bars blocking the orange Skull-Key door. Go through and you'll eventually arrive at the Secret Exit.
2 - Secret: Silhouette Sunset
Star Coin 1:
The first one is out in the open, just platform up the cliffs and jump to grab the Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
In the underwater area you probably won't notice a small hole in the wall covered up by breakable brick-blocks the only way to tell it's there is to look at it from certain angles where you can see light shining through. Here's the location on the map, just to save you time looking through the entire area over and over again.

Just blast it open and go through to get the Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
In the final area you might notice some indents in the side of one of the cliffs. You can jump to them and collect the last Star Coin.
2 - 2: Lilac Landscape
Star Coin 1:
Just climb to the top of the cliff and jump down.

Star Coin 2:
In the inside area, in the room with the timed spikes you'll notice a small hole that you can crawl through. Time it properly, don't get spiked, and get the Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
In the final area of the level you might notice the last coin in a hole on the side of one of the cliffs. Just jump to it from the cliff next to it, don't worry about getting back there's a teleporter.
2 - 3: Relic Ruins
Star Coin 1:
In the first Quick Sand tunnel you might notice a part that's block by some bars. Just find a switch somewhere around there.

And return to where the bars should be but aren't there for some unknown reason, anyways you'll find the first Star Coin above.

Star Coin 2:
So in the next Quick Sand tunnel you might notice a path at the very bottom of a vertical hallway. Go down there and you'll find a switch, hit it.

Now go to the normal path and you'll notice a passage way that wasn't opened before, even though your most likely to find the switch before going through there. Anyways go through there and swim up, you'll get the next Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
In the last Quick Sand tunnel you can find a switch, hit it. Go to the end of the level and then turn around, you'll notice a large box with a Star Coin in it, that wasn't open before even though once again the switch is most likely to be found before you pass the secret it opens.
2 - Fortress: Pyro Pyramid
Star Coin 1:
This one is simple, just platform up there, or trumpet-jump up there.

Star Coin 2:
This one is also simple just platform across of trumpet-jump across.

Star Coin 3:
Just grab a flight power up and grab it, these are all really simple to get, oh well it just makes my job easier.
2 - Shop: Time For Your Reward!
Go on down to your local mysterious desert merchant and claim your reward!

Behold the Golden Shotgun, it's shiny and more deadly, enjoy and don't forget to Rip And Tear!
3 - 1: Sunny Seaside
Star Coin 1:
Oh boy this one's a bit complicated, you'll see it in a cage early on in the level. Now you'll need the Star Shooter which is located near by.

Now there's a shoot-able target located next to the cage, however you can't shoot it from where you standing. The good news is that the Star Shooters Alt-Fire ricochets off walls, so use it to hit the target and grab the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Near the end of the underwater section there's a room with a purple coral floor, you might notice a metric ♥♥♥♥-ton of air bubbles coming out of one of the corners. This is actually a hidden pit that you can just walk through and get the second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
In the final area of the level there's a large ocean around the area, in this water there's a Golden Crab that if you kill it will drop the last Star Coin.
3 - 2: Port Paradise
Star Coin 1:
At about the halfway point of the level there's another beach, on the east side of it is a pipe you can go through. Down there is the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Now the second Star Coin is behind a gate, this gate has four bell symbols in front of it. You'll need to shoot the four bells around the town to open the gate.

These bells are hard to miss and can be shot from pretty much anywhere.

Star Coin 3:
Near the end of the underwater section you might notice a tunnel with a timed spike trap in it.

This leads to a pipe that when you swim up through it takes you to a pipe in front of a platform next to a ship with the final Star Coin on it.
3 - 3: Beautiful Bay
Star Coin 1:
Right at the start of the level is a group of stalagmites in the corner, there's a Breakable Block that gives you a Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Later on in the leave there's a small Breakable Block on the wall in this one room, behind this block is a target that opens a hidden room where the second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
Now this last one can ♥♥♥♥ RIGHT OFF! First you have get to pillar leading to the exit, now hope on to one of the walls, now look for the two pillars, now hop on to the shorter of the two pillars.

Now if you managed to land on the pillar without falling off, you'll see a small cave that you can hop to, this cave has a switch that opens an underwater tunnel. You know, in that nightmare room full of electric jelly fish.

Go through there and get the final and worst Star Coin in this level.

♥♥♥♥ THIS LEVEL!
3 - Ghost House: Spooky Sunken Ship
Star Coin 1:
In the room with the first checkpoint you'll see a door with a few piles of skills around it. Go ahead, open it!

Star Coin 2:
This one you literally can't miss as it's dropped after a required boss fight.

Star Coin 3:
After unlocking the Medusa Doors you can go back to a pipe you used earlier. Now you can get throw the Medusa Door. This eventually leads to the final Star Coin.

Golden Spider 1:
After hitting the first switch on the way back you might notice a Golden Spider hanging onto the bottom of the broken staircase leading to the switch.

Golden Spider 2:
After heading back to the door the switch opened, you can see a group of boxes in the corner next to the newly opened door. Climbing on top of these boxes you'll see another Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 3:
Later on in the level you can see a Jolly Roger with some vases in front of it, breaking the vase will allow you to walk through it revealing a hidden compartment where yet another Golden Spider is waiting.

Golden Spider 4:
After exiting a pipe later on in the level, if you look to the corner you'll find a Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 5:
Eventually you'll come across the Spike Room, one side leads to a switch and the other leads to a Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 6:
Soon you'll find a hall way with a box in the corner, crouching down and checking the side of the box will show a Golden Spider crammed inside that box.

Golden Spider 7:
Once you leave the underwater section you can find a door leading to a room with a Golden Spider just hanging out.

Golden Spider 8:
Eventually you'll come across the Dark Room there's a switch in there, but more importantly there's a Golden Spider in one of the corners, however it's hard to see so just fire your Trumpet Cannon into the corner and it'll probably get it.

Golden Spider 9:
Once you unlock the Medusa Doors you'll need to go back and check all the rooms they open. In one of them is a Golden Spider hiding within a pile of pots.

Golden Spider 10:
Near the very end of the level there's a room where you have to platform to reach a door, turning around before going through the door will show you the last Golden Spider

Secret Exit:
This will require you to come back later as it requires the Red Skull Key which is located in world 4. After getting it and coming back you need to go through the first Medusa Door which leads to a Red Skull Door, going through there will lead you to the Secret Exit.
3 - Fortress: Shrine Of The Abyss
Star Coin 1:
After hitting the first switch the door to the next area, you'll find the first Star Coin above, good luck reaching it. Also make sure the water is lowered otherwise you won't be able to get the Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Later on you'll find a room with the second Star Coin, the only way to reach it is to raise the water level so make sure it's raised.

Star Coin 3:
Your gonna need to raise the water level again, then near the Boss Arena you might notice a compartment sealed with Breakable Blocks. Break them to reveal a switch, hitting this opens a gate in the pervious area. Warning You'll Need To Hurry As The Gates On A Timer

Now that your in this area with the water raised you can now get the final Star Coin that was blocked by a platform that floats on the water before.
3 - Shop: Time To Collect Your Reward!
Walk up to your favourite Suffer Imp and have and shoot-the-♥♥♥♥ about life, after that collect your reward!

Behold the Golden Assault Rifle It's Golden, it's Shiny, it's even deadlier making it the best weapon for long range combat! Enjoy, and don't forget to RIP AND TEAR!
4 - 1: Moonlight Morass
Star Coin 1:
In this level there are two pedestals, one contains the Leaver Action Shotgun and the other contains the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
The second Star Coin is located within the poisonous water near by one of the Warp-Trees, the easiest way to find it is to use the Warp-Tree near the first Star Coin that takes you to area where the second one is.

Star Coin 3:
Right at the exit is a tree that has the final Star Coin embedded in it, just jump around it to get it.

Secret Exit:
About halfway through the level there's hidden tunnel in the poisonous water that takes you to the Secret Exit, man it really sucks that you constantly have to take damage form the poisonous water.
4 - 2?: Pumpkin Pathway
Star Coin 1:
Early on in the level you'll definitely notice a Teleporter behind locked gate. This gate is opened by shooting a target that just so happens to be right across the chasm. Shoot the target and hop on the Teleporter, it'll take you to the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
This one you'll also probably notice before you enter the Castle, it's there hanging off the side of the Maze. So if you decide to go to the Maze you won't find as the path to it is hidden.

However there's a hint at the beginning of the Maze, it's written on the sign. You if you can't find a Star Coin also remember to check any signs in the level they tend to hint at what to do a lot. The sign says that "something shiny is behind the mushrooms", so search the Maze for some Mushrooms. When you do then interact with the wall next to them and it'll open revealing a path to the second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
The final Star Coin is pretty easy to find, near the end of the level just check the trees. More specifically the leafs of the trees where the final Star Coin is. You'll either have to jump to it or Trumpet-Jump up to it.

Secret Exit 1:
In the Maze you'll find an outcrop with a revanant on it, this outcrop also has a secret hole in the wall that you can crawl through to reach the Pumpkin Patch. There's a sign there that tells you not to shoot the pumpkins, so or course shoot the evil one, you can tell it's evil because it's red and glowing, glowing red things are always bad everyone knows that!

Shooting the evil pumpkin opens a Secret Exit inside the Castle.

Secret Exit 2:
With in the Maze there's a switch that opens a Secret Exit, the Secret Exit is located by the checkpoint in the Maze.
4 - 3?: Aethereal Zone
Star Coin 1:
On the island right before the first switch there's an indent in the side of the island, this indent you can drop down to and grab the first Star Coin and then take the Teleporter back to the island.

Star Coin 2:
Later on in the level you'll probably notice the second Star Coin, in fact I noticed it before the first one. This one is high up with no way to platform up to it. So I'm sorry but you have to be cool and Trumpet-Jump to it, there's no boring way to do it so you'll have to be one of the cool kids to get it.

Star Coin 3:
Do I really need to explain this one? I mean it's right there in the open, sure the platforms don't appear until you hit the switch but the switch is right there. I guess I'll explain it for the sake of being thorough.

Near the end of the level you'll see the Star Coin on a platform made of the Red Wire-Frame Blocks, you can Not stand on these, however after hitting a switch they'll become Solid Red Blocks, luckily the switch is right in front of them.

Secret Exit:
Near the halfway point of the level is you probably won't notice unless you're very perceptive, a very thin ledge leading around the wall, hoping on this and following it will take you to an opening in the wall below.

Following this path will take you to the Secret Exit after using a Teleporter.
4 - Ghost House: Venom Villa
Star Coin 1:
In the room with the two doors each blocked by a green or purple gate, you can look up and see the first Star Coin, however no matter how many cool Trumpet-Jumps you do you can't reach it do to what I like to call "Elevation Is A Myth Created By John Carmack". Basically it may look like there's an opening above you but actually it's just a ceiling that projects the another room to create a sense of two rooms stacked on top of each other. But the developer made it so that you can fall to this from the room "Above" it, so you can just grab it by jumping down later in the level.

Star Coin 2:
In the library there's a hidden Skull Switch high up in one of the bookcases, this switch opens a secret Bunker. But it opens for about 3 seconds, so Hurry!

The Bunker is a semi-throwback to Wolfenstien 3D, kind of, all the nazis are replaced with cats for some reason, so if any knows if this is a reference to something please let me know, I mean the only thing that comes to my mind is the children's book "Maus" which is about the holocaust and where the nazis were shown as cats and their victims were shown as mice. Anyways just RIP AND TEAR your way through the Bunker and claim your second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
In the room with the raising and falling platforms the final Star Coin is located under one of the non-moving platforms, you'll have to take some damage from the poisonous water though so be careful.

Golden Spider 1:
The first Golden Spider is hanging on the left side of the staircase in front of the entrance.

Golden Spider 2:
Another one is hanging on the side of a Balcony/Catwalk over a pit of poisonous water.

Golden Spider 3:
This one's hidden behind a pile of boxes in the corner of the room leading to the outside area.

Golden Spider 4:
A Golden Spider is hidden above the entrance of the room with a double staircase.

Golden Spider 5:
This one is hanging off the corner of some support-beams in a room with touch covered pillars.

Golden Spider 6:
This one is just in the corner of the secret entrance to the library.

Golden Spider 7:
A long way into the level there's a pile of boxes that lead to a small crevice in the wall, this crevice has yet another Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 8:
This one is next to the gate outside.

Golden Spider 9:
This is in a high up indent in the wall, this is in the same room as the second Star Coin.

Golden Spider 10:
And the last Golden Spider is hanging on the side of the exit.

Secret Exit:
While exploring the level you'll find a room with a fence wall allowing you to see a bunch of Red Wire-Framed Blocks, there's also one of those Red Skull Switches. Just hit the switch and use the blocks to reach the Secret Exit.
4 - Secret: Ghostly Woods
Star Coin 1:
The first one is behind the island that leads to the first inside area. Your gonna need to be cool and Trumpet-Jump to it.

Star Coin 2:
Later on inside the cave, you might notice a square section of the wall covered with vines and roots, there are actually Breakable Blocks, breaking these blocks reveals a tunnel leading to the second Star Coin

Star Coin 3:
In the final area of the level the final Star Coin is located within the largest island. The way you reach it is by swimming though one of the two openings underwater.
4 - Fortress: Fort Phantom
Basic Info:
This level is broken into four areas, Orange, Red, Blue, & Green Ghost Areas, You can tackle them in any order so the number of each Star Coin will only refer to the order that I got them in.

Star Coin 1:
This Star Coin is located within the Orange Ghost's Area you'll probably notice this area has a ledge where some Spike-Imps are.

After killing them you should make you way to this ledge as the back wall is actually an Optical-illusion, and actual has some Breakable Blocks that when destroyed reveal a Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
In the Red Ghost's Area there are many graves within the walls, like a catacomb, but you might notice that one of them is semi-transparent. Luckily there's a Flesh-Eye-Switch later on that's behind a Push-Block that removes the weird Translucent-Grave-Wall allowing you to reach the Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
While going through the Green Ghost's Area you'll definitely notice the lava pit in the middle of the hallway, or in my case you'll stupidly fall down it because you were distracted by enemies. But down that Not So Deadly Pit is another Star Coin and a Teleporter to get you out of the pit.
4 - Shop: Time To Claim Your Reward!
Pull up to camp and share some war stories with your cool Ghoul Hunter pal, and then claim your reward!

Behold the Golden Trumpet-Buss it's Golden, it's Shiny, it does even more even more damage! Enjoy and don't forget to RIP AND TEAR!
5 - 1: Pretty Petals Peak
Star Coin 1:
This one is right there in front of the water fall, it's hard to miss, just drop down to collect it.

Star Coin 2:
In the cave, check around the mushroom stems, you'll find a Star Coin, just jump down to collect it, but be careful getting back up.

Star Coin 3:
After leaving the cave you'll notice the final Star Coin on the stem of a giant flower.

The best way to reach it is to drop down to the ledges around the cliff side.
5 - 2: Mount Mirror
Star Coin 1:
So this first one is a great introduction to the Mirror World in this level. You'll most likely notice this Star Coin in a cave with in the cliff side, the issue being that the entrance to the cave is blocked with Indestructible Metal Blocks.

However in the Mirror World the cave's entrance is blocked by Breakable Blocks, and if you break them in the Mirror World it will destroy the Indestructible Metal Blocks in the Normal World allowing you to reach the Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Once you arrive in the Mirror World Village you should hop onto the portal, and use it to jump on the roof of the near by house, and then platform to the tower and check the top part.

Star Coin 3:
After draining the poisonous water from the Mirror World Village you can find a Red Skull Switch, this causes Red Wire-Frame Blocks to become Solid Red Blocks these blocks are over a cliff by the second check point, the reason I mentioning this is because those Solid Red Blocks lead to the final Star Coin.
5 - 3: Chilly Cliffs
Star Coin 1:
Early on you'll see a Snowman carrying a treasure chest, they say they'll hand it over "Over there melted body, Kill Them!

Star Coin 2:
Within the ice cave you'll see a pool of hypothermia inducing water, this water has a secret tunnel with in it, it's hard to see in the screen shot but it's there. Swimming through the tunnel will give you hypothermia, but hey at least you've arrived at the Star Coin you may also see your great grandpa William Joseph Blazkowicz frozen in ice.

Star Coin 3:
After leaving the ice cave you'll come across a platform made of ice with the final Star Coin frozen inside. All you have to do is swim underneath it to get the Star Coin.

5 - Ghost House: Rimy Residents
Star Coin 1:
By one of the doors in one of the larger rooms, you'll find a sign saying "one of the knights lack discipline". Going through this leads to a hallway with 3 suits of armour, the one in the middle is holding their spear wrong.

Interacting with them fixes the spear and opens a hidden compartment across form the suits of armour, containing the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Eventually you'll reach the library, within the library there's a hidden Skull Switch embedded high up in one of the bookcases. This switch opens secret passage next to the Skull Switch.

This passage leads to the second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
This one is found frozen in ice in one of the hallways. But the issue is that it's in there and we're out here.

So you have to start the furnace to melt the ice, after that you can just go back and grab the final Star Coin.

Golden Spider 1:
This one is hanging on the wall above the doorway in the room with a staircase in it.

Golden Spider 2:
This one is hanging on the side of a hole in the roof in room with the large stair case.

Golden Spider 3:
This one is just in the maze, just check all the paths and you'll find it.

Golden Spider 4:
When you get outside you'll be standing on a thin piece of ice leading to the next area, however you can jump on top of a near by air-duct to reach another Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 5:
This is just under the icy floor.

Golden Spider 6:
This one is behind the boxes in front of the stairs leading to the furnace room.

Golden Spider 7:
This one is hanging on a bookcase across form the library exit.

Golden Spider 8:
This one is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to find, it's on top of the crypt entrance in the graveyard.

Golden Spider 9:
Inside the icy underground crypt you might notice a small hole in the ground, this leads to another Golden Spider

Golden Spider 10:
In the icy storage area you can find the last Golden Spider near the bucket of coal.
5 - Fortress: Arctic Alcazar
Star Coin 1:
Early in the level there's two Bullet Bill Launchers inside an indent in the wall, this indent has a Star Coin hidden inside it.

Star Coin 2:
In the outside area is a bunch of Red Wire-Frame Blocks leading to a balcony with the second Star Coin on it, luckily the Red Skull Switch is right under the balcony.

Star Coin 3:
Once you back inside you'll probably notice a side path that 3 Bullet Bill Launchers are firing down, go down this path and you'll find the final Star Coin.
5 - Shop: Time To Claim Your Reward!
Hop up the hill to meet Mike, have a nice friendly chat and browse his yard-sale. But don't buy anything because we're here for our reward.

Behold the Golden Star-Shooter it's Golden, it's Shiny, and it does more damage! Enjoy and don't forget to RIP AND TEAR!

6 - 1: Strawberry Fields
Star Coin: 1
The first one is easy to find, however getting to it is tricky. You'll have to use these Note Blocks to jump on top of the Hot-Air Balloons and platform form one Hot-Air Balloon to the other to reach the first Star Coin.

Star Coin: 2
Once your inside the Submarine you might notice a pile of boxes with some Breakable Blocks tucked behind them. Breaking these will uncover a hidden pipe.

Going through this pipe will take you to the Realm Of Endless Dots, where you'll find the second Star Coin.

Star Coin: 3
The last one is also easy to find but tricky to get. It's right there on top of the clock tower in the middle of town. How you get to it is by using a malfunctioning Red Note Block on the other side of the map. You can tell which Red Note Block you'll need to use because it has a sign next to it explaining that it's not properly calibrated and will "send you flying across the universe".
6 - 2: Sweet Sugary Skies
Star Coin 1:
You'll probably notice this one from a distance, the question is how do you get there?

You'll need to progress through the level until you reach the cliff that those platforms are protruding out of and drop down to collect your Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Later on during the cave section you might notice a small area hidden in one of the corners of the cave. Going though this area will lead you to a milkfall (a waterfall of milk) that has a Star Coin inside.

Star Coin 3:
Eventually you'll come across a cliff with some spiky grass on it.

Looking over the cliff you'll see an outcrop along with a trail of coins leading there, this leads to secret tunnel taking you to the third and final Star Coin.
6 - 3: Overgrown Brambles
Star Coin 1:
This one is pretty easy to get but hard to see, it's up at the top of a massive stone pillar and is surrounded by trees. You can just use the flight power up given to you in this section to get there, or Trumpet Jump up there.

Star Coin 2:
In the bramble section, you can see an area above that you can't jump to. Use this sections flight power up to get up there and grab the Star Coin. Just be quick, you don't want the flight power up to run out while your flying over all the sharp thorns.

Star Coin 3:
It's just floating there, menacingly! Jump down from here to get it. Make sure to keep moving forward until you land otherwise you might fall to your death.
6 - Ghost House: Crescent Moon Manor
Star Coin 1:
Early in the level you'll definitely notice a Star Coin behind some bars. To open those bars you'll need to shoot a target that's hidden in a small hole in a wall that's covered in webs.

Star Coin 2:
After you come back inside from the outside section, you'll walk up some stairs that lead to a balcony over looking the rooms entrance, how ever you might notice somethings up with the wall. This is because there's a secret compartment that contains switch, so shoot it open and hit the switch.

This will open a room with the Star Coin a little farther in the level.

Star Coin 3:
In the curse section you can climb on the wall and you'll see the Star Coin.

Golden Spider 1:
In the first outside section you cross beneath a balcony, on one of the pillars supporting the balcony is the Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 2:
In the next outside section there's some Ghost Platforms leading to a switch, however you can ignore the switch and keep going which will get you a Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 3:
In the curse section you can just drop down to the lower part of the island and find a Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 4:
Later on in the curse section you can find a Golden Spider underneath the stairs.

Golden Spider 5:
This one is behind a pile of creates.

Golden Spider 6:
This one is hanging on the wall in the entrance after the outside section.

Golden Spider 7:
Due to budget cuts we had to replace a small part of the wall with Breakable Blocks. We also had to use a Pork Chop and a Golden Spider as insulation. (It's not a turkey leg it's a Pork Chop, in the manual for the orginal Castlevania the food you find in the walls of the castle is labelled as "Pork Chop" so it's not a turkey leg, it's a Pork Chop. I'm sick of people telling me it's a turkey leg!)

Golden Spider 8:
In the corner by the statue in front of the exit.

Golden Spider 9:
This on is hanging around over a bottomless pit, make sure to time the Ghost Platforms before attempting to get the Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 10:
In one of the towers there's a Golden Spider under a platform.

6 - Fortress: Tower rewoT
Star Coin 1:
Somewhere in the level you'll see a pit like this, normally you can only go over there when the stage is flipped. However dropping down will get you a Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Flip the stage and go back to the start of the level. Using the return to map teleporter will take you to the Star Coin instead of taking you back to the World Map.

Star Coin 3:
While the stage is flipped, go to the buildings exit. This will take you to another Star Coin.
6 - Shop: Time To Claim Your Reward!
Go down to the musical Caco-Demon and claim your prize.

A Golden and Shiny lever action shotgun, it holds 8 shells instead of 5 and does a ♥♥♥♥ ton more damage. You should never use the double barrel every again, this does more damage, has a higher rate of fire and can fire more than twice before needing to reload, this is the end game shotgun!
7 - 1: Sunny Hills Simulation
Star Coin 1:
This one is easy to find and surprisingly easy to get, just jump between the platforms to grab it.

Star Coin 2:
In the underwater section you can find a metal vent that's missing it vent cover. Crawl inside and go through until you reach the Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
This one is easy to see but tricky to get. I recommend jumping down from here to get it, although Trumpet Jumping from the lower ledge should work as well.
7 - 2: Damp Depths
Star Coin 1:
This one is easy, just Trumpet Jump to it. Or if your a lame-old loser you can just jump to it from a little further on in the level.

Star Coin 2:
In the metal section of the level you'll notice a bunch of POW barrels piled in a corner. If you look behind them you'll notice a wall made up of metal blocks, shoot the POW barrels to blow open a path to the Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
Later in the level you can find a body of water, you can find a hole covered in vines. Swim through and get your Star Coin.
7 - 3: Industrial Mines
Star Coin 1:
At the very beginning of the level is a water fall hiding some Breakable Blocks. Destroy the Breakable Blocks and swim in there to get your Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
In the Create Maze you can find a way to climb on top of the creates. While on top of the creates you can find the Star Coin across the top of the maze.

Star Coin 3:
When you get to the locker rooms I hope you would notice the Golden Yellow locker, if you didn't notice it then check to make sure your using the OpenGL render-er as the software and true colour cause issues with some of the graphics. Anyways open the locker and steal the Star Coin, don't worry you're just stealing money from an underpaid miner, so your consonance is clean.
7 - Ghost House: Spectral Steamworks
Star Coin 1:
This is easy to see and surprisingly easy to grab, just remember to save before try to grab it and that timing is key, don't be afraid to jump early, your jump is float-y enough to give you a second of two of wiggle room.

Star Coin 2:
In the first outside section you'll notice a building with a bell tower, if you shoot at the bell a wall near by will lower.

This will lead to a cemetery with a Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
After the train yard there'll be a pile of POW barrels. Destroying them reveals a purple block with a face on it.

If you interact with it you'll be taken a grassy field with a Star Coin.

Golden Spider 1:
There's one hanging on to the mental vent above the entrance.

Golden Spider 2:
There's one on the ceiling in one of the first rooms.

Golden Spider 3:
This one is easy to find but a bit tricky to get, I recommend just jumping forward and immediately back peddling.

Golden Spider 4:
This is hidden behind some creates in the first outside section.

Golden Spider 5:
This one is another one of those easy to find tricky to grab ones, there's a lot of those in this level.

Golden Spider 6:
This one is right behind a pipe in one of the lava sections, you can actually find this one by pushing the block that gives you a short cut back.

Golden Spider 7:
This one is hidden behind a create next to the exit.

Golden Spider 8:
This one is one a pipe next to a tall conveyor belt.

Golden Spider 9:
This one is hidden on top of a create suspended in the air, you have to climb up the creates one by one to reach the one with the Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 10:
This one is hanging on a support-beam in front of the train station.

7 - Fortress: Binary Bastion
Star Coin 1:
The first is easy to find, how ever getting to it is a much different story.
I recommend saving before trying to collect it.

Star Coin 2:
The second one is in this outcrop within a pillar that contains a revanant I have no idea how your suppose to get up there but I always Trumpet-Jump around from the ledge below. If you manage to make it you'll find the Star Coin hidden behind the wall.
I also recommend saving before this one as well.

Star Coin 3:
You'll see this one the second you enter the room, the only question is how to get there.
There's a very small and very hard to see platform sticking out of the wall, it's especially hard to see because most of the platform is transparent. Now just jump through the very hard to see hole in the wall and get your Star Coin.
7 - Shop: Time To Claim Your Reward!
Walk up to the item, ignore the creepy robot-thing, and claim your prize. "I have no mouth but I must scream" - UAC Robot (1994)

Behold the Golden Cupid Mark V, it might not be as Shiny or Golden as the other upgraded weapons you get from collecting Star Coins but this one does even more damage making it able to one-hit most high-tier enemies, and that is worth more than all the Shiny & Gold in the world. Enjoy and don't forget to RIP AND TEAR!
8 - 1: Demonic Den
Star Coin 1:
Okay so you might notice a cliff that you can jump to that seems to lead nowhere.
Jump to it and you'll see that you can walk around the edge. Now jump form the end of the edge to the slanted stone pillar.

You now have to jump around another pillar. Then jump to the rock flat with the trees on it, weave in between the trees and you'll find the Star Coin. I now having a horrible feeling about this world after this first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
Later on in the cave section is a very small and very hard to see platform. Land on it without falling into the lava, then turn around and hit the switch. Doing so opens a secret compartment with a Star Coin in it.

Star Coin 3:
After the cave you might notice that a pillar you pass by has a small outcrop that you can jump to.
Follow the along the outcrop until you reach the Star Coin.
8 - 2: Styx Swamp
Star Coin:1
Early in the level while your marching through the think red blood past the gate (although it might actually be water as the level is named after the river Styx from greek myth), you might notice a small pit hidden in the water with a Star Coin.

Star Coin:2
After teleporting into the underwater section you might notice in the centre room that there's a bit of foliage creating a gap in between the wall and ceiling. Swim up and dive down to where the Star Coin is.

Star Coin:3
In the final area you'll see a waterfall with some skull pikes around it, located around the east side of the area. You can actually walk through part of it to grab the Star Coin.
8 - 3: City Of Dis
Star Coin 1:
You'll probably notice this one overlooking the path to the switch, but wonder how to open it.
If you look at one of the windows filled with fire, you can see a target you can shoot to open it.

And right by the target you can see the hidden compartment that allows you to get the first Star Coin.

Star Coin 2:
For this one all you have to do is find the Blue Skull Switch to turn the Blue Wire-Frame Blocks into Solid Blue Blocks, luckily the switch is just off the side of the cliff.

Star Coin 3:
At the start of the final area you'll see a wall blocking your path with a pentagram on it, you can see a floor in the water with the same pentagram on it.

Later on you find a switch that lowers the wall with the pentagram on it.
This also moves the floor with the pentagram on it letting you get to the Star Coin under it.
8 - Ghost House: Gluttonous Gorehouse
Star Coin 1:
In the first area with poisonous water, there's a Star Coin behind a flesh pillar that's behind a weird water pillar.

Star Coin 2:
In the under "water" section (it's really more of a "under blood section" but whatever), you'll see a Star Coin behind a window leading into a room that's blocked off by some kind of flesh wall.
At the end of the under blood/water section you hit a switch, this switch opens a path forward but also opens up the room with the Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
Near the end of the level you'll notice a poisonous waterfall, if you stop to look close enough you might notice something yellow and shiny inside the water fall.

Golden Spider 1:
Early on in the level there's this weird liquid that I will call "water" out of emotional denial, there's a Golden Spider next to it.

Golden Spider 2:
Later you'll come across this area with some pillars for platforming leading towards a Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 3:
When you reach the first switch you'll see a pillar in the middle of the room, however there's a gap in the bottom of the pillar allowing you to crawl inside and find yet another Golden Spider.

Golden Spider 4:
This one is in the middle of a jump forcing you to climb back up afterwards.

Golden Spider 5:
In the first Electric-Jellyfish room you'll find a Golden Spider on the floor. How has it not drowned yet?

Golden Spider 6:
In the final room of the underblood section (under water but instead of water it's blood) there's another Golden Spider hiding in an air-pocket within the ceiling.

Golden Spider 7:
After the checkpoint there's a series of doors, the one in the centre has a Golden Spider inside.

Golden Spider 8:
After that you'll come across a room with another pillar of what I will still insist is water because I don't want to think about whatever it actual is, that has another Golden Spider next to it.

Golden Spider 9:
Near the end of the level is a cliff overlooking the room, on this cliff is mouth that I'm 80% sure is taken for the original postal, anyways you can open this mouth and find a Golden Spider inside.

Golden Spider 10:
Right next to the exit is a little outcrop with the last Golden Spider just chilling there.

8 - Castle: Tower Of Babel
Star Coin 1:
The first Star Coin is easy to find, just turn around after jumping over this pit of lava. Just watch out for the streams of fire shooting out of the lava.

Star Coin 2:
After the first checkpoint you'll appear in room with 4 doors, 2 on each side. one side is block by a wall with pentagrams on them. Later in the level you might notice a banner with hidden room behind it, this room has a Eye-Flesh-Switch in it.

This "switch" lowers the wall blocking those two doors, both of which lead to the second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
Near the end of the level you'll be circling around a centre area entering 3 arenas. In the final arena you'll notice that you can continue circling the tower and enter a fourth arena, at the end of this arena you'll find the final Star Coin.

IMPORTANT!
Don't beat the level after getting the final Star Coin otherwise you won't be able to get World 8's Star Coin Reward until after you beat the game.
8 - Shop: Time To Claim Your Reward!
Walk right into the building, wait your turn in line, remember to be respectful to the retail workers, and claim your prize.

It's a back pack, it may not be Shiny or Golden but it holds more ammo so that's nice.

Congrats! you did it! You got all the Star Coins in the base game, now you beat the game with your head held up high knowing that your bravery and determination have allowed you to... hang on wait a second! You didn't do ♥♥♥♥, I'm the one who spent 2 Whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Years making this guide and i'm not about to give you credit for just following this guide! Maybe if you go the extra mile and beat the extra levels that unlock after beating the game then I'll respect you, as going the extra mile is always a lot of effort and worthy of respect guide used or not!
Bonus 1: Unlocking 1 - Secret
Accessing The Level:
You first need to beat the game.

Now that you saved the world and Daisy you can final return home, except the construction workers who repaired your house won't let you in until you pay them 20,000 coins, also they'll only take checks because they can't carry 20,000 coins.

Then you must have collected every single Golden Spider in the game, then visit the Non-Ghost House and talk to the friendly demon and give her all the Golden Spider Skulls, she will then give you the Spider Key.

Return to the Spider Mansion because now you can open the massive Spider Door, use the Spider Key and the Spider Door so you can fight the Spider Boss and get the Spider Jewel.

Now give this to the friendly demon and she'll give you a check for 20,000 coins.

Use your newly acquired check to pay the construction workers and they'll leave, allowing you to enter you home.

Now you can look around, pet Daisy, and notice a glowing portrait and a sign saying that it's a gift from our friends at the good ol' UAC. It's actually the portrait of Happy Gardens from Golden Souls 1. Anyways interacting with it, doesn't actually take you to Happy Garden, but instead opens a path to it from your house on the World Map.

Bonus 2: 1 - Secret: Happy Gardens
Star Coin 1:
Right before the first switch you'll notice a small fountain and probably just overlook, dismissing it as a nice decoration.WRONG! Look into the water and you'll realise that the fountain is much larger then you would think, and it has a Star Coin at the bottom of it.

Star Coin 2:
The second one is in the same location as it was in the first Golden Souls, once inside the main building you'll see some short pillars, hop on them and you'll notice some windows, with one seeming to have a room behind it. Jump or run through and you'll find the second Star Coin.

Star Coin 3:
Once you exit the main building and into the back garden you might feel inclined to take the secret exit from the first Golden Souls, just hop on the outcrop, then the tree, and finally jump to the overlook and dash across to the tunnel.

Only for when you reach the end of tunnel to discover that someone stole the secret exit, leaving nothing more than a Star Coin and sign saying "your memory serves you well", which it really doesn't seeing as you're using this guide.
Bonus 3: Becoming A Super Player
The dark and forbidden rights of bragging
If you've collected every single Golden Spider, unlocked every Secret Level, collected every single Star Coin, you might have the will power to enter the Astral Accomplishment.

Gather all the Star Coin (which requires you to collect all the Golden Spiders and beat all the secret levels), and use then to bridge the void so you may reach the final level Astral Accomplishment. In case your wondering the void that you need to brigde is in World 6.

And near the end of Astral Accomplishment you will receive bragging rights.

Take a breath son, you did. Actually don't take a breath I did all the work, you just copied off my work, ♥♥♥♥ you these are my bragging rights! But hey at least you get a "100%" Star on the corner of your HUD so you get that at least, you also get my respect for sticking with this game all the way through, especially if you did it on one of the higher difficulties.
Conclusion
This guide took me 2 and a half years, that's a lot of time so excuse me for having this little overly indulgent part at the very end. I would just like to thank you guys for reading through this guide, I poured way too much blood and sweat into this so just one person reading through this is enough to make me happy.

I love Golden Souls 1 & 2 but man I will not be playing these for at least a year or two, because holly ♥♥♥♥ why did I decided to play through both of these on the highest difficulties for these guides. Like I get wanting a challenge but this play though was just for the guide, so doing so just made this guide overly difficult to make.

Anyways, I'll probably play through this again some time next year to make a video guide for those who don't want to read through all this or for those why still can't find something because of how my guide was written. I tend to do that a lot where I write something in way that makes sense to me but then other people can't understand it, which always suck.

So basically look forward to having Video Versions of both my Golden Souls 1 & 2 guides, and look forward to my Golden Souls 3 guide when that one comes out.

The mod requires GZDoom. I have a guide on how to set up ZDL which is a mod loader that can be set up to launch through steam.

If you have any more questions on to set up the mod please let me know!

Is the installation guide on the website for steam, or something else?

Glad you guys liked it, I honestly did this because I wanted to express my love for these mods because they are so good.

I didn't expect a detailed guide for a total conversion on Steam but this is pretty neat.
Golden Souls 2 is my favourite TC for sure.

I hadn't seen that someone had made a guide for Golden Soul2 on steam...I've played it so many times that I already know where every coin is but it gives me pleasure to see so much love for,(for me), the best Doom 2 mod.
