accessories on your custom character makes it different from everyone else
widely accepted "rules" for creating characters may include:
Do not copy a character if so have permission
If you are inspired by a character you should probably put a link to what you were inspired by
eg: my character was inspired by this persons character (insert link)
Do not make your character to close to another character or it may not be considered inspiration but instead a copy

now lets get onto the real part of this section
if you want to add hats or clothing to a character you should use resizable housing its easier than using wires trust me

i know i said there wouldn't be any images but the image is an example
for face accessories unless they have to be really small use wires if they have to be a custom color there is a colorable wires mod


here are some tips:
use layering when making your character or it may look stupid (no offense)
if you need to make something smaller than the smallest you can make something resize it with something else and it bypasses the limit just make sure not to try and resize it without something else again or it will go back to normal |

ALSO noticed someone had a problem with this: in order to connect them to the player use wires i recommend using the "press K to make wires invisible" mod.











note: layering in simple terms means if something goes over something or behind something kinda like how a humans back hand isn't very visible but a humans front hand is

now this may seem weird to add to this guide but using people from mods can really effect your character because if you disable that mod the character wont be able to be used
