I considered having it auto-build hyper relays but it's a very difficult thing to automate (as you want to build paths, and determining what a meaningful 'path' through your empire is is a hard question. Given it's already very easy to do from the galaxy map I thought it wasn't worth it.
There's no AI weighting for the upgrades so the AI won't do the upgrades, and there's no reason for them to anyway as they have infinite patience for micro.
I use this with ultimate automation and have my construction ships auto build hyper relays, and whenever I want a gateway it saves so much clicking by using your mod. 10/10 :)
