Weapons - Melee
The following table shows the game's melee weapons and some important properties of each.
  • The Antique Katana cannot be looted. It can be obtained by completing the related quest.
  • Sharp melee weapons are not effective against armor. Use a blunt weapon instead.
  • By far the best melee weapon against zombies and body parts without armor is the Katana.
  • The best melee weapon against armor is the Golf Club (at Hand-to-Hand skill level 4 or 5.)

Armor & Clothes
The following table shows armor and clothes in the game, including insulation, damage absorption, and skill bonus and sight bonus.
  • During the winter, survivors need a higher level of insulation to survive the cold outside. Find appropriate clothing for the season.
  • Armor replaces hats in order to provide protection against sharp weapons and bullets, but have a some other penalty.
  • The High Grade Body Armor, Lab Coat and Lucky Camo Jacket cannot be looted. They can be obtained by completing the related quest.

Food & Drinks
The following tables show food items in the game. Some notes:
  • Water will reload the survivor's Thirst stat. Vodka and Wine will drain it.
  • Drinking Soda will drain the survivor's Thirst stat by a small amount.
  • The weight of most dishes and drinks depends on the weight of the container, which has a fixed weight.
  • Carrot, Skinned Chicken, Skinned Rabbit, Venison, and (Rancid) Human Meat can be thrown at animals and zombies.
  • Carrot is food for Rabbit, Deer, and Chicken. (Boiled) Ear of Corn, Beet, Chilli Pepper, Cucumber, Pumpkin, as well as Corn Cookie, Cooked Chicken, Cooked Rabbit, Cooked Venison, and Human Meat are food for chickens.
  • Sugar and Urine are originally in the crafting category in the game, but they have properties more similar to food.
Food and personality types:
  • Cooked Suspicious Meat Piece, Human Meat, and Rancid Human Meat contain human meat. Survivors with certain personality types will be happy or unhappy to eat it.
  • Chilli Pepper, Meaty Curry and Veggie Curry are spicy foods. Survivors with certain personality types will be happy or unhappy to eat it.
  • Wine is a good gift for Alcoholic personality types, but bad for Nervous ones.
  • Corn cookie is a good gift for personality types that like Sweet food, but bad for ones that like Bland or Spicy food.
  • Meaty Curry is a good gift for personality types that like Spicy food, but bad for ones that like Bland or Sweet food.
  • Corn cookie is a good gift for personality types that like Bland food, but bad for ones that like Spicy or Sweet food.

  • Possible F.E.M.A. Contact Details, Satellite Phone, and Green Pass can survive building collapses, and cannot be destroyed. These 3 items are Sandbox-specific items.
  • The 3 Keys, Heavy truck parts, Helicopter parts, as well as Anonymous and Validated green passes are only available in Story mode.
  • The Wind-up Radio is throwable and can be used to distract zombies.
