Description
This is a light, updated and slightly improved version of swissbob's amazing IE Start Positions mod "True World" : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2872011780

This version has been pared down to only move the start positions of Greasus, Skrag, Azazel, Sigvald, Wulfrik, Alith Anar, and Cylostra.



Changes:
  • Greasus now starts in the Great Hall of Greasus, as is proper
  • Skrag now starts closer to the Great Maw, in Yhetee Peak in the northern Mountains of Mourn
  • Alith Anar now starts closer to his homeland on the shores of the Twisted Glade
  • Cylostra now starts in the cursed high elf city of Arnheim with easy access to both Ulthuan and Naggaroth
  • Azazel and Sigvald have had their locations roughly swapped, putting the daemon in the northern wastes and the charismatic human in Norsca, closer to the Empire.
  • Wulfrik has been moved back to his old start position in the Sea of Claws to give Belakor and Sigvald more space, and his faction easier access to the Empire.

Compatibility:
As with the original True World, this mod is compatible with any other mod that doesn't mess with the starting locations of factions being moved, as it is entirely script-based. It is compatible with both Mixu's unlocker and Immortal Empires Expanded.

Could you please please please include Golgfag and move him to Skrag's original location in the Southern Realms? This would make the mod perfect!

How do the victory conditions work here? Are they changed? Is it compatible with victory conditions overhaul?

I've been working on a mod with Mixer support that combines all of my start position mod with configuration options but IRL stuff is soaking up my time

I would love @Jopanis's idea. Separate mods would help with mod conflicts.

Could you add MTC support or make separate mods for each of the start changes? Azasel change conflict with Mixu's LL since Egrimm van Horstmann already start there, and Sigvald with OVN Albion since it moves Be'lakor to the settlement he should attack.

I hope we get a mod just to kick Skarbrand to the Southern Wastes, because he is way too strong against the Badlands factions and just ruins the flavor of the whole region.

Regarding my earlier comment in July, could you please make the Azazel starting location a seperate mod as well?
After a few more playthrough with different factions it really messes up the balance in that area with him missing.
The Order factions have usually wiped out everything on that side of the sea by turn 100, it's not a coin flip anymore on if either chaos wins or if order wins.

Even though lore-wise and for the player I like the start position, but for the AI and the campaign flow it's really detrimental, azazel isn't a powerhouse by himself, but he does help level the playing field.
In my Wood Elves playthrough with Durthu I even had to take out Hobo Jesus because he and Katarin were just wreaking too much havoc and making the ordertide happen too fast.

@AwDiddums, I'm working on a compilation mod that combines all of my start position changes and makes them configurable with MCT.
