After a few more playthrough with different factions it really messes up the balance in that area with him missing.
The Order factions have usually wiped out everything on that side of the sea by turn 100, it's not a coin flip anymore on if either chaos wins or if order wins.
Even though lore-wise and for the player I like the start position, but for the AI and the campaign flow it's really detrimental, azazel isn't a powerhouse by himself, but he does help level the playing field.
In my Wood Elves playthrough with Durthu I even had to take out Hobo Jesus because he and Katarin were just wreaking too much havoc and making the ordertide happen too fast.
