You must have a big desk then? I think a monitor is too big when you look from one side of the screen to the other and have to move your head. I've had a couple of 27" 10 yrs ago which were 1440p. (They were considered big back then and 1440p wasn't popular back then and somewhat new). Then I tried Ultrawide, then went back to 16:9 which were couple of 32" 1440p. Now I got a 42" 4K OLED and a 32" 1440p. I gave one of my 32" 1440p away to fam since I have no room for it anymore.

Yea do show me a pic. I'm curious how big your desk is and how far away you sit from such a big screen.

it's a perfect monitor and great TV. 120HZ, 4k bright oled. Gaming optimisations, fills my view just sat on my desk, I'll send you a pic. I'm just so used to big screens. had a 50 inch plasma for years then went to the 65inch oled, now 48 inch oled

How is that 48" C2 perfect size for you? I could have paid $100 more and would have gotten a 48" version of my Asus PG42UQ but I knew it would be too big for me that's why I went for a 42" instead and glad that I did. Even a 42" is BIG af and I have it mounted on a mounting arm. Do you have your C2 mounted on a wall and you're sitting far enough away for it to not seem so huge? What are your thoughts on C2? Do you like it? I mainly avoided it because it's technically a TV.

I looked at AORUS FV43U as well but the specs were too weak IMO for $750 and on top it was ONLY a VA panel.. should be an IPS at very least. I also looked at AORUS FO48U (48" 120hz OLED) and it was only $75 more at $825. But then.. I started reading reviews on Amazon and damn.. it was bad! So many people complained and so many posted pictures of dead/stuck pixels. Not even out of the box (eventually would happen). That was a definite NO for me. Paying that much for a monitor and then just to throw it away in no time.. absolutely unacceptable! :BL3Thumbsdown:

That's so weird I just bought an LG C2 as I had to move my setup, been using a 65 inch LG C8 for the last few years in the living room but now have a dedicated space so I bought a Gigabyte fv43u, it turned up smashed :EXPLODARAMA: So I got another one delivered, took a week......that was smashed even worse  FFS so I just went for the LGC2 and it's perfect perfect size for me too. I don't think I would be happy without OLED so I'm glad they were broken:steamhappy:

Thanks dude! Yeah if you don't need it then don't get it. It's expensive specially with a good PCIE5 PSU. To top it all off I got an Asus PG42UQ 4K 138hz OLED (G-Sync) monitor to go with it. I figured this would be an appropriate time to jump to 4K and OLED as well but way too expensive. Honestly as cool as thus monitor is.. it's just not worth $1500. They charge way too much for these panels OLED. IMO it's worth $700 tops. I did get all the extra features that Asus put on this panel but LG C2 with same panel can be had for $900 (same 42" but without G-Sync and other features). That's more appropriate price wise but C2 is considered a TV while I wanted an all around monitor for my desktop use. I have to say 42" is also as big as you want a monitor to be. I thought, I'd never say that but it's true.

Noice! I keep putting off getting a 4090 as I just dont "need" it right now and I'd have to get a new PSU to cope so I'm going to wait until I do a full refresh. Looks kool though bro
