Introduction
Efficient way to boil water
Heating a smaller volume of water typically requires less time compared to heating a larger volume due to the lower mass to heat ratio. Since there is less mass to heat, it takes less time to raise the temperature of a smaller volume of water


Desktop Setting
Refresh Rate
Adjust your Refresh Rate to a range of 20-50.

In Windows 11, navigate to System > Display > Advanced Display > Choose Refresh Rate. The minimum available option is 50.

Alternatively, with the use of third-party software, you may be able to achieve even lower refresh rates.
Task Manager
Open the Task Manager and locate "atg-steam".
Left-click on "atg-steam" and set it to Efficiency mode.
Right-click on "atg-steam" and select "Go to details".
In the details tab, right-click again on "atg-steam" and choose "Set affinity".
Set the affinity to utilize only one core.
Steam Engine Settings
Annoy ATG
Disengage the brake - 0%
Set the heat level to its maximum, at 100%
Disable the relief valves
The throttle valve is set between 37% and 45%
Press the Up Arrow then alt+tab
Bake a cake
Select the water fill icon and add a small amount of water. Wait until the PSI reaches up to 250% before using the Alt-Tab function. PSI resets whenever the temperature falls below 110°C , you need to start the process again.

also my monitor cant even do the refresh rate thing because it is a.... uhhh tiny samsung with flowers on the back and it is called a syncmaster 933hd and it kinda sucks

@Raterix I'm with you. Thankfully, after recent performance optimizations, the developer decided to drop the auto-adjusting simulation quality, which is now locked at full quality regardless of framerate.
