Unmissable.

Finish the game in Story mode.

Level 1-2: hit an apple with a fireball.

Step on a bomb with a jump, and let it blow up near another bomb.
It's easier to do in level 4-1.

Hit a block to take down a witch, before she runs away. It can only be done in level 3-3.

Level 2-3 is probably the only level where it is possible to make at least 10 straight jumps.
Carrot power-up is highly recommended.

I discovered so far three secret exits in levels 2-1, 2-3 and 4-1.
2-1 is the easiest for this achievement.

Game Boy Color mode. Just press F5 or F6 on your keyboard and pick a color (plenty of choices).

Do not press X to run. Level 1-1 is the best for this.

Hard to miss, but if you missed this just play the first levels without picking up other power-ups.

In order to unlock the secret level, you have to find the secret entrance located in level 2-2.
The Hammer power-up is required to break your way through the entrance.


The secret entrance is available only in Story mode.
In Trials and Race modes the entrance won't unlock (I found it out the hard way):

Finish all levels in Trials mode.
Don't need to make a perfect score, and isn't necessary to play the final boss and Venice levels.

You can't save and resume another time. Complete Race mode in one sit.

Level 1-1: go backwards and you'll find the burger power-up (and this achievement).

Second hardest achievement. Pick the burger power-up in level 1-1 and go all the way until you reach the boss Tero in level 1-4. Feed her and the achievement is yours.
In level 1-4 you can kill the flames too.

Hardest achievement of this game, it took me a couple of hours.
You have to reach the level 2-4 with the hammer power-up without losing it, and you gotta start from level 1-1.
There are only 2 hammers, one located in level 2-2, and the other one at the end of level 2-3 in a secret spot beyond the finish block.
The hard part of this challenge is not to lose the hammer in level 2-4. If this happen, you have to restart from level 1-1.
And don't forget to use the secret exit in level 2-1 in order to spare some minutes.

You can use two different methods I made below this section.

First method:



In level 2-2 if you lose the hammer and you already hit a checkpoint, move to the second method.
If you manage to reach level 2-3 harmless, go for the secret exit and skip half the level. If somehow you lose the hammer or you get hit, move to the second method.

In level 2-4, watch out for the bullets. They're very annoying in this level. Take your time and reach the boss room. Hit her with the hammer just one time and the achievement is finally yours.

Second method:



If you failed the first method, don't worry.

In level 2-3, do not hit the finish block at the end of the level. Go forth and you'll find a hammer:

This boss is located in level 3-4.
Beat him without take any damage. Restart from last checkpoint if you fail.

In Level 4-4, use the hammer to reflect the boss's wave attack.
The hammer is located right before the boss entrance.

Good job if you got all the achievements.
