How to extend your G-Menu
Hello there? do you want a big G-menu so you can put all your mods? then this guide is for you!
First, you need to go to your space engineers folder:
Then go to the Content/Data/Screens/ folder.
Duplicate your CubeBuilder.gsc File (backup in case ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happen):
Then, open CubeBuilder.gsc with your favorite text editor (notepad++ in that case):
Search for a section that look like this (/!\ there's two <MyObjectBuilder_GuiControlBase xsi:type="MyObjectBuilder_GuiControlGrid"> sections, search for the latter one that EXACTLY look like this, look at the column and row number, it should be 10 for columns and 6 for rows, not 10 and 1.) :
Edit the values, X and Y in the position section define the position of the grid on the screen, DisplayColumnCount and DisplayRowsCount change the number of columns and rows shown at the same time, Only Displaycolumncounts seem to affect the total number of items you can get in the menu.
Annnnnd it's done!
You can play with the values to your likings.
This tutorial explained what is done by the G-menu extension. There's no mod doing this, as the file you just modified can not be changed by a mod.

Just wanted to add a note for anyone that has done the modifications and found that it did not work. DO NOT USE the program NOTEPAD that comes with Windows. Use NOTEPAD++, which is a free program. Notepad puts some kind of marker on file and the game will not recognize the change for some reason. I have experienced this first hand, and though it baffles me, it is what it is. If you have to or want to modify any txt file in SE - Use Notepad++
