Introduction
Here's the next iteration in my Ghost N' Skulls guides. Hopefully it's informative enough that you'll be able to complete it with ease and get that Perkaholic!

As with the other Ghost N' Skulls (Skull Hop in this map) easter eggs, you'll need to collect a total of 6 skull tokens to power the machine. This guide is split into each individual skull, however, you will still need to do them in order.

Power Down Bug Workaround
There is a bug with Attack of the Radioactive Thing and Shaolin Shuffle where the Ghost 'N Skull machines on those maps will power down if you fail your first attempt at the game, not allowing you to power the machine back up for another attempt.

This is not intended and there luckily is a workaround (Special thanks to Mental Returd ♿ for bringing this workaround to my attention!)

Before you start the game, make sure to equip the "Skull Hacker" fortune card. This is one of the more rare cards, but if you have a few, this will help tremendously.

During the EE, once you get the machine up to 5 skull tokens, before you charge shot the machine with the M.A.D. wonder weapon, pop the card to power the machine instead and go into the game.
Once you're in the game, quickly fail and get booted back out.

That's it, now you can actually power the machine with the M.A.D. and attempt the game as many times as possible without the machine bugging out and fully powering down. And this will still allow you to get the achievement.

Here's a quick video of me doing the work around before starting my attempts.

Skull One - Shooting Skulls
Before starting this step, I would recommend having a sniper with a scope to help with being able to see the skulls as some of them are extremely far away outside the map.

The easiest sniper to obtain is the TF-141 which can be found near the Pool area.

‎ ‎
For this step, there are 5 skulls you'll need to find around the map that are fairly well hidden in a total of 10 different spots. Once you find the skull, shoot it and it'll disappear. Once you find all 5, you'll get a completion sound and the first Skull Token has been collected.

Skull Locations
  • Near the Snack Shack where Quickies can be found, outside the map behind the fence in the entrance to the bathrooms
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • Inside the building to the right of the power switch behind the couch
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • Behind the dumpsters behind the stairs near the Teleporter pad by Power.
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • Inside the market, in the back of the aisle in the middle of the store under the shelf (Prone to see the skull)
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • Blue Mason sign outside the map behind 'Tuff 'Nuff
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • Behind the Dumpster outside the map near the Change Chews Machine. (This one can be quite difficult to see.)
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • Outside the map to the left of Crogzilla on some rocks
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • Underneath the bus on the Bridge (Apparently this can spawn in two spots, but both are under the bus)
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • Top right balcony of the motel if you're standing on the Bridge
    ‎ ‎
    ‎ ‎
  • In Elvria's studio in the window near the front desk

    ‎ ‎
Skull Two - Filling the Pump
The pump can be found just outside the garage on the ground to the right of the garage door

‎ ‎
Pick it up and you'll want to bring it to the toxic waste pools found outside the map between the Ice Cream Shop and the Power

‎ ‎
Quickly, you'll need to hop outside the map to the waste pool and place the pump in it. It will make a sound when it goes in and then you'll quickly need to hop back in bounds. Not doing this quick enough, or doing it without 'Tuff 'Nuff will more than likely kill you, so if you're playing solo, make sure you have Up 'N Atoms.

Now, you'll want to stay near the area and it will take roughly 5 minutes before the device is finished. In the interim, you'll hear the device make noises, however, when the device starts doing a constant beep, that means the device is finished and can be picked up.

NOTE: Do not leave the area after you've placed the device. Doing so will mess up the step

Once you pick up the device, the next skull will be obtained and you can move to the next step.

Here's a video of me placing the device in the waste pool and collecting it for reference if it's needed.

Skull Three - Using the Pump
This step can be kinda of tricky, and can't be completed until you're at least on round 4 (At least playing solo). However, what you'll need to do is get a train of exactly 16 zombies and run them through the pool trap.

To start, let's grab the gas can to refuel the pool trap. This gas can is found right outside Elvria's studio on the driver's side door of a truck

‎ ‎
Once you have the gas can, bring it to the pool trap which is located at the edge of the pool behind the motel near Elvira's studio

‎ ‎
After you've refueled the pool trap, in the center of the pool, you'll want to place the device we got from Skull 2.

‎ ‎
Now, you'll want to get a train with exactly 16 zombies and lead them into the pool trap and activate it. Once you've gotten the 16 kills and the pool trap stops, you'll hear a completion sound and you'll have obtained the 3rd skull token.

Here's a video of me completing this step for reference.

Skull Four - Spelling Bee
This is one of the more complicated steps (which Attack is no stranger to.. chemical step *cough*)

However, if you bare with me, this step is actually pretty easy.

First, go to the Ice Cream Shop and outside above a red bench, you'll see a word written on the wall. You'll want to note down this word, it changes every game, so you'll more than likely not have the same word as me.

‎ ‎
Now, go to the area near the Ice Cream shop with the swing sets and the big movie theater screen. On the corners of the swing sets, you'll see red symbols (Which if you played Shaolin Shuffle you'll recognize as they are actually letters).

‎ ‎
To put this simply, interacting with the symbols at the base of the swing sets will put the symbol on the big movie screen in front. You can create a string of up to 4 of these symbols on the movie screen before it resets the string. These combinations of symbols dictate the symbol that appears further up the screen.

The goal here is to select different combinations of swing set symbols to get the letters further up the movie screen that spell out your word from the ice cream shop. Once you get a letter you need for your word, you shoot the letter to lock it in. If you shoot a letter that you don't need, the step will fail and you'll have to wait till the next round before you can attempt again.

‎ ‎
To make things easier, there is a great tool that will help you complete this step with ease that I used myself. When using this tool, it will ask you to enter your word, and to enter the symbols you have at your swing sets, far left being the symbol that is closest to the Slappy Taffy perk machine and the far right side being the side that is furthest away from Slappy Taffy.

‎ ‎
Also for reference, I'll add the image that deciphers the symbols into letters from Shaolin Shuffle

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Once you've successfully entered you word on the movie screen, everything will disappear from the screen and you'll hear the completion sound indicating you've collected the fourth skull token.
Skull Five - Don't Blink
To start, you'll need to go to the RV area and on a picnic table near one of the RV's, you'll see a note hanging off the table that says "Don't Blink." Melee the note and it will disappear.

‎ ‎
Now, go to the pool and pick up the device from earlier. You're going to be placing it around the map at 4 different Willard Wylard paintings and completing a small mini game. Below are the Painting Locations
  • One in the little building/office near the pool
    ‎ ‎
  • One behind the gas station by the dumpsters
    ‎ ‎
  • One in the Beachside Market in the office.
    ‎ ‎
  • One in the Ice Cream Shop
    ‎ ‎
What you want to do is place the device near the picture. Then interact with the picture and you'll notice a bubble that drowns out sound and slows everything around you down appears. Now, melee the device and it will break and start spawning black clouds with little green eyes.

You need to shoot atleast 7 of these black clouds to complete the step. You'll know you've successfully shot and killed one as it will make a sound. When the bubble from the painting disappears, if you got atleast 7, you'll hear a completion sound.

You'll need to complete this at all 4 paintings. Each time you complete one, you'll need to return to the pool to get a new device.

Here's a video of my completing one of the paintings for reference.

‎ ‎
As soon as you have completed this step at each of the four paintings, the 5th skull token will have been collected.
Skull Six - Charge the Machine
This part is the easiest, however, before you complete this please look at the tab "Power Down Bug Workaround" which will help prevent a bug where the machine will completely power down if you fail during your first try at Skull Hop.

For this step, you are going to need to get the M.A.D. wonder weapon from the Mystery Wheel and you're going to need to upgrade it. If you aren't aware of how to upgrade the M.A.D. I have the steps posted in my ALL YOU NEED GUIDE TO ATTACK OF THE RADIOACTIVE THING

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2711831705
Once you have the upgraded M.A.D., crank the gun using left mouse and let loose a charged shot at the Skull Hop machine located in the Ice Cream Shop. This will power on the machine and give you the last skull token allowing you to interact with the machine and finally play Skull Hop.

If you fail the Skull Hop game (and you've done the workaround to prevent the machine from permanently powering down), you can re-enter the game by repeating this step.

Playing Skull Hop
Skull Hop is definitely one of the more difficult Ghost 'N Skull games to complete since there's a lot of moving parts (literally).

To start, when you get in, you'll see a bunch of small moving colored platforms that you can jump on. On the other side of the arena, you'll see the frame of skulls as well as two colored bars that will constantly switch throughout the game.

The concept of the game is simple, you need to be standing on the platform color that matches the colored bars on each side of the frame of skulls. While standing on the platform, when you pull a cube with the entangler, it will be come that same color. So if you are standing on a Red Platform, the cube will be red.

If you hit a skull with a cube that is a different color to the bars, the skull will turn red and fly towards the portal. You can try to hit it before it escapes, but if it escapes it will count as a strike. Another thing to mention is that the bars will blink before changing colors, so my strategy is to shoot whatever cube I'm holding to the side and wait for them to change and move before shooting another cube.

The same goes if you fall off the platforms and hit the ground. You'll teleport back to the starting platform, but a skull will turn red and try to escape.

The goal is to clear 3 frames of skulls, hitting the skulls with the same colored cubes as the bars to the left and right of the frame. Each frame, your strikes are reset.

You also do not need to worry about downs, as going down in this arena will just pick you right back up. (And you will go down... ♥♥♥♥ those lasers).

While playing, the frame will also move slowly towards you, however, if it reaches too close, it will instantly fail the game. So you'll want to try and be quick clearing each frame.

Below is a video of my playthrough of completing Skull Hop

Rewards
The rewards for completing Skull Hop are just like the other ones, you get a permanently perkaholic, which can be kinda pointless if you're playing director's cut.
However, you also get the achievement "Quarter Muncher"

Just now I did used the Skull Machine Fortune Card to have infinite retries at the game. And when we failed my screen was still fuzzy. It removed our skull too.

I've done the skull game many times and have never had this happen before. What a pita...

@Liquid Mantis, I believe so, however I've only ever done the Ghost N' Skulls easter eggs solo and 2 player

Does the time you have to complete a frame decrease per player?
