Cosmic Monolith

Play as the Cosmic Monolith enemy from Epic Battle Fantasy, using abilities from all types of monoliths from across the series!

Here is an overview of some of its moves:


This character's main gimmick is it's status effects:


The blue star is charge, the yellow shield is defend.


Hit an enemy to gain the charge effect.


Charge lets you perform your strong attacks: the Death Spike, Doomsday Laser, and Wind Hands.




In addition to that, having a charge also changes and enhances all your aerials and forward special. Here are some of them:






Use your down special while having a charge to get the defend status.


Defend gives the monolith super armor for a single hit, though if you get hit in the middle of a move, it will persist until the end of the move.




The dash attack is an important tool for the monolith, as it lets you quickly traverse across the stage with up special.


It is also jump canceleable on hit, letting you combo into an aerial move.



Neutral special casts antimatter.


It always launches opponents towards the monolith, who can move it by hitting it, creating some unique combo opportunities.





Uncharged down special casts one of four swords on the ground below, each one with slightly different properties.


The monolith's air speed is quite slow, but it can use up special while in the start of a dash to retain it's speed.


By charging down strong to the max, you can cast doomsday, the Cosmic Monolith's most powerful move!
