1 - How the XP and Heart System works
How does the XP and Heart System work?

It is quiet simple: you'll get a small amount of XP for each designelement of the stickers you sell.

You level each individual element and for every level-up you receive some hearts which you can then use to unlock new design elements. If you go to 'upgrades' you can see the levels of the diferent components. Each Element can be leveled up to lvl 5. The level is indicated by the stars.

2 - How to get XP
How do you get more XP?

You can get an XP bonus of up to 75% per order. There are two methods on how to gain more XP:

1 - Sweets

Sweets give you a set amount of bonus XP. They are stackable which means more sweets = higher XP bonus (up to 75%).

  • Gum - 15 % XP bonus, 10g
  • Lollipop - 20% XP bonus, 15g
  • Dango - 20% XP bonus, 15g
  • Konpeito - 30% XP bonus, 20g

In order to get the max bonus of 75% you would have to use either one of the following combinations:

  • 5x gum (50g)
  • 3x lollipop / dango + 1x gum (55g)
  • 2x Konpeito + 1x gum (50g)

- I would only advise you to use this method if you're done buying every upgrade that cost gold -

2 - extra stickers!

Yes, you heard me right, extra stickers. If you pack some extra stickers into each order, you will also receive an xp buff of 5% per additional sticker. This means you'll need to pack 15 more stickers into each order to get the maximum amount of bonus xp.

You probably ask yourself now: how is that more cost effective than the sweets?
Well, this depends on the tactic! In the following chapter I will show you my technique on how to use this method in the most cost effective way possible!

3 - Bonus Stickers for Bonus XP!
Here's how to do it:

Since it doesnt matter how big, small or sparkly the bonus stickers are, you can just create a very tiny sticker. In my example I used the sparkle from the shapes category and made it as small as possible.

Its important to either use the white paper or cardboard option, to make it as cheap in production as possible!

You simply fill up the printersheet as much as you'd like (I know it takes ages, I only filled mine up with 100 stickers and it took me around 5 minutes) and once you're happy with the amount of stickers on the sheet: just print it out and voilá! You got yourself some cute bonus stickers for your customers to enjoy and for you to get extra xp out of!

Please note that you wont get any extra gold for those stickers, as they are freebies for your customers!

here are some aditional tips for you!

I would personally unlist the bonus stickers, since they dont make you much profit (only 1g per sticker). To do that just go to your shop menu (click on the keyboard on the top in your home screen), scroll down your stickers until you find your bonus sticker. Uncheck the little checkmark in the upper left corner and done! This way, you wont get orders for that sticker which would bring down your gold income.

Also: you can only get hearts if you level up an element, so in order to get hearts, you need to offer a variety of diferent stickers using different elements. Try switching the designs up from time to time and check which elements already reached lvl 5.

Thats it! Thank you for reading my first ever guide! I hope I was able to help you with my methods and tips. If you liked this guide, I would highly appreciate your feedback ♥ Thank you! ♥

♥ Have an amzing day! ♥

This guide just saved me years off my life! I only have the "Buy all stickers" achievement left to do, but I was only getting about 20-30 hearts each day. By unlisting 5-star designs, making new stickers with elements that have 0-stars, and adding in 15 of the tiny stickers to each box, I've been getting 10x more hearts each round now! Thank you!

You can just click on the sticker in the inventory whilst making the sheet. It'll automatically slot in the sticker. I put over 140 stars on a sheet in less than 30 seconds. The bottom row won't fill, so you can manually put that one in. Got 150 stickers on one sheet.

i believe it's best if you also tell how to min max the sticker exp. this post summarizes it well: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/2303350/discussions/0/4208119778368232033/

i still believe that more stickers = more exp though, but it might be just me.

anyway, thanks for the guide.

Thanks so much for the guide, really appreciated! I'll make sure to play through the story first before using, like you suggested

Oh and one last thing I'm not sure about, does sticker size/sell value impact the XP gain for the design elements?
Zanmor 12 May, 2024 @ 7:17am
A few questions as the last achievement I need to grind out is unlocking all the stickers:

Does including stickers that weren't ordered increase the XP for those stickers? It looks like it doesn't.
Is XP gain split among all designs elements in a sticker or do you get the same amount for each element in a sticker? For example if I have a sticker that's just a cat and selling it gets say 2 XP, does adding the word Friend to it get 2 XP for friend as well or do I get 1 XP for cat and 1 XP for friend?
Are lower stars easier to obtain? Do higher stars reward a bigger bonus? I haven't been paying attention as these things pop up.
I think I should unlist/delete my current stickers and make a bunch for grinding out purchasing stickers that just include one of every design element. Maybe focusing on those that haven't leveled up (and excluding any I have 5 stars in).

Sort of just thinking out loud here, but if you wanted to min-max this guide those might be things to clarify. Thanks!

i cant tell you how much you really, REALLY shouldnt do what i just did... but i fit over 6000 stickers on one sheet. at a quick glance, i think the minus sign is the smallest element? and filling the entire sheet... whew.

it apparently took me 60 hours with sleep included, but that data is skewed because im narcoleptic. i learned a LOT from this, actually. things like stickers spawning in with margin, middle, disappearance, and free-placement states, dragging and dropping having a wider collision box instead of clicking and adjusting, pulling a sticker from the middle, towards the spawn box, then into the margin to reset the place-zone factor, working from bottom to top because stickers spawn faster at higher points of the page so "spawn areas" can stay at the top and "fill areas" can start at the bottom...
