this is triple threat in endless


the video is german tho I wrote all steps in english in the description. (besides the fact that the video is mostly self explanatory)

1.
use a file extractor to extract the "data.zip" folder, I used:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gameextractor/ tho you can use any program that works. (if you dont know how to use game extractor watch a tutorial, its pretty simple, or use another program)

2.
put all the files it extracted into the data folder, if no data folder come out when extracting, just make one "data" and put all NEW files and folder in there.

3.
go in ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Orcs Must Die 2\data\scenes
and select the map you want to play in endless. COPY the folder and put it somewhere temporary (desktop)

4.
select the endless map you want to overwrite (I used Tower) and copy the folder to save the map (you gonna overwrite it, so you cant play it before you put the original map back)

5.
copy the name of the original endless map and put it on the files of the map you selected for endless (ONLY there where the name of the map is, dont put it where no map name is)

6.
put all the overwritten stuff in the orignal endless map folder (the one in the OMD!2 folder)

7.
start the game and select the original endless map. press play and lets go
(note that the loading screen wallpaper will stay the same of the original map)

tho remember, I just found out about this aswell, so I might not be able to answer every.


*edit: put the Music folder also in the data folder, otherwise you wont have music

so since we now KNOW how to play other maps, and know that we just have to overwrite existing ones, we just have to get to know how to make them ourselfs, since I'm already a bit into game makin and modding I'm gonna try my best to find out HOW to make custom maps. shouldnt be that hard? o.o


also I wasnt able to test the game in multiplayer after overwritting the files (also not able to test if other levels are playable in coop endless, would need someone to help me with that)

all unplayable maps, can be started, tho you cant begin the game or sell traps.
some unplayable maps can be started tho no enemies will spawn.
