Fixing the Sound Bug in the Diplomacy Screen
By alloy
If you experience sound issues during diplomacy with certain nations, such as sound cutting out or loud noises, you can resolve this problem by installing two specific files. This issue arises due to an audio channel limitation caused by certain Windows 10 updates, restricting audio output to only two channels. By applying this fix, you can rectify the audio channel problem not only for Civilization 3 but also for various other older games.
