1: Open the Steam Client.
2: Go to Garry's Mod.
3: Click the settings cog.

4: Click "Properties..."
5: Go to the Launch Options at the bottom of the pop-up and copy and paste the following text into the field:

-force_vendor_id 0x10DE -force_device_id 0x1180

Simple as that!
