A guide on how to easily and simply make a wheel in the game.

The simplest wheel
The easiest way to make a wheel is to lay out three cylinders of different diameters and different colors on top of each other.



Going to the menu of the production line, we set the sizes we need



I set the diameter to 1 block and the thickness to 0.01 blocks. This gives the resulting product a flat appearance.
In the Production tab, we set the following sizes



Pay attention to the location of the object in the picture, the darkened square shows how the resulting product will stand in the block. I put it on the far edge so that it could be attached to a standard cylinder.
After starting production, you will get this result:



When installing an item, hold down the Alt key, it places the item on a 90-degree grid.
Complicating production
You can also make a more beautiful wheel.
As an example, we assemble such a figure on the work site



Going to the production line, we set the dimensions we need. I put the wheel diameter in 1 black as standard, but you can see any size you need



In the Function tab, select the product type: Part.
We are starting production.



Now we are building an assembler (Installation for assembly)



In its menu, click Add Detail
And in the search bar, enter the name of the part and select from the resulting list.



I recommend highlighting the name and copying it with the Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C commands



Now we repeat adding the part and for convenience we use the command Ctrl +V



We change the degree of rotation of the new part, for example, by 10 degrees



As you can see from the picture, one detail has shifted relative to the other. Now we repeat this sequence of actions several times until we get a vicious circle



Now let's go back to part 1 and change its position in the diagram
Since we have it with a diameter of 1 block (meter), we raise it above the floor by 0.5 and turn it around to face the person by turning by -90 degrees.



Now we give the product a name and start production.





As you can see from the picture, the wheel stands with one plane in the center of the block and then the wheels can be combined by putting two wheels on both sides. Also, since the wheel is a dynamic object, it moves along the grid every half block, at any angle (if you hold down Alt, it is placed exactly) . Also, in the same block where you put the wheel, you can install a static object as an example in the screenshot, this is a blue semi-block.


Epilogue
I also want to draw attention to the fact that you can also create a wheel not from one part, but make several different ones and combine them.





In addition, if the first part is to put a closed-type rotor and specify it to always work in the functions, then after installing the wheel, it will spin.
