Omschrijving
Lead a team of US Army Rangers on an early morning mission to eliminate forces blocking a river crossing and capture a town.
Just before the birds start chirping. The elite team of US Rangers moves to infiltrate the enemy flank and hit defenses where they don't expect.

In this scenario, you will lead a squad in a mission where the main objective is to strike the Germans from the flank and open the way to the town on the hill across the river.

The main clash points will be a luxury villa used as a garrison and the streets of the town. So you can expect close quarters combat, but before that happens you'll need to sneak through more open areas where you'll have a chance to meet up with the French Resistance. This will be an optional objective. If you do it before the Germans discover you, you will get additional partisan support in the battle for the town and you won't have to fight two Panzer IVs that will appear in the battle otherwise.


Current Spearhead Performance
The current state of performance for Spearhead 1944 (or specifically it's map) doesn't seem to be the best... I tried my best to make the mission as smooth as possible but as they say it is what it is. Looks like some drops in FPS are unavoidable at the moment.

Procedural generation is used in the mission to make it fresh and interesting on every playthrough.

Enemy spawn positions, patrol routes, and French Resistance rendezvous position are randomized each time a mission is launched.



COOP mode is available for up to 6 players.

Takes somewhere between 30 - 45 minutes to complete the mission.

Great mission! The second Panzer IV didnt want to come into town for some reason but it felt good to sneak up behind it and knock it out with a Panzerfaust.

paulygoon123 I'll be honest with ya. I don't know what the solutions to any of problems with mission using this DLC are. They act completely differently in editor and differently when exported. Most of those custom mechanics just appear by themself at random and sometimes don't even work... I think, Im not even sure.

I personally had high hopes for this DLC but got so frustrated with how it works and the fact that it works differently in editor and exported and that it's takes like forever to even oper attributes of any object in the editor and etc.

TLDR: I wish I could help. I think those are quirks of the DLC but it's such a pain in the ass to use this DLC that I can really even tell. Sorry. :C

Hi BlackFox, I have been playing a few Spearhead SP scenarios. I have noticed that when I die rather than it giving me an option to load an earlier save game, i go into a revive mode where I hold space bar then just get back up, Is there no option to just die & restart? also, i want to turn friendly fire off for my AI teammates for more realism. can you help or is this just a quirk of this DLC?
