To get 100% in this game you will have to play it at least twice with some additional partial playthroughs.

Most important is that you should do a backup of your save game before boss fight in chapter 3.
This fight is meant to be lost but there are achievements related to killing this boss.

Your first playthrough should be on Ronin Difficulty. It may be quite hard at some points, some enemy combinations will definitely frustrate you but it must be done for 100%. As for the bosses there are videos down below wich each of them on Ronin and Kensei Difficulties to help you out.

To beat the game on this difficulty you must master one move - stunning combo. It stuns an enemy and opens them for finishers. That's how you go through the entire game. So once you unlock it be sure to practice it and master it.
It's light attack, light attack, heavy attack.
Don't waste your time trying to get achievements requiring you to defeat bosses without getting hit. You'll get those in Kensei mode.

Second playthrough you must do on Kensei difficulty that will unlock after beating the game on Ronin.
In this mode every enemy except bosses die in one hit but so are you. You can still use shrines to save and all checkpoints work normally. Bosses have less health than on Ronin so it's actually easier to beat them as long as you don't get hit.

After that you will be left with mop up. Thera are 3 endings and each has it's own achievement. So you can reload that chapter 3 boss save and go from there on easy.
But to be honest I would recommend replaying the game for the third time to get that ending and Untouchable Achievement along the way. To get it you must finish one chapter exept first one without using any shrines and without dying. Chapter 2 is best to get it.

Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken - Complete the game in Ronin mode



Unstoppable - Complete the game on Kensei mode

Men-Kaeshi-Dou - Execute 50 successful counters


This should come naturally as you play the game. You can't finish the game without counters.

Malicious mischief - Kill 10 enemies without using any weapon

Bloodlust - Perform 50 finishers


Technically missable but should come naturally. Finishers are the way to go through this game.

Big Bertha - Kill 3 enemy at once with ozutsu

Untouchable - Complete a whole chapter without dying and using a shrine

Early End - For killing the boss in chapter 3



No, that's not possible... - Kill Kagerou Shogun without getting hit
