The Wizard is an attacker and supporter who stays at the backrank of the expedition.

Wise and sage beyond anyone could comprehend, the Wizard seeds ember on the enemies that soon will burst into a conflagration. As the heat of battle progresses, the destructive power of his fireball builds up, set to devour his enemies in an explosion of flame.

Not only is his fireball capable of dealing devastating blows on enemies, but he can also set up the enemies against his companions' attack by shattering enemies' armor into pieces. His fire will melt even the mightiest shield and armor, exposing the vulnerable flesh of any opponent. Furthermore, when his allies are down and out, he can rejuvenate and embolden them with his flame.

• Wizard's name is 'Merlin', and his code ID is 'wizard'
  
• His district is Outsider's Bonfire.
  
• Wizard's CRIT effect is Torch +7, and DMG +20% buff for Fireball.
  
• Wizard comes with two town events, related to stress relief and less stress damage.

• Sometimes, when Nova Bomb is used against enemies with a riposte, he will get inflicted by +DMG Taken from Fireball debuff. This is purely a visual glitch, and entirely harmless.
  
• Daze on Sparks Fly will not work like DD2; rather, it acts like its Butcher's Circus counterpart, where dazed enemies act last among their party members rather than all the entities on the battlefield. Sparks Fly has 1 rd -99 SPD debuff to counteract this.
