Finally after 1 year and almost 6 months of hard work, delays, and redo's, my first and probably only finished map for CS1... I Present to the Cities Skylines community, The Island of Lahui, HI based on the beautiful Isle of Oahu, HI (ALL MADE FROM SCRATCH!!!) And I am not a CS pro by any means... So please show me some love... Lol!. Of course it is not to 1:1 scale but I tried the very best I could to portray the island as accurate as I could due to limitations. It is also not by any means perfect as it was very hard just to make the mountains alone, and my tree placement is NOT the best (which I'll fix later), so please bear with me. Yes there are a few things that still need to be worked on, and yes I will still update the map through time.

As far as specs, This is obviously recommended for those with high performance PCs to run it as smooth as possible when building. 81 tiles is a MUST to play with the full Island, but with very few other mods and assets required. It has 250,000 placed trees (with option to delete as you wish), 3 outside road connections all running underground for "realisim" (but only 2 are connected with an option to connect the 3rd), 4 airline connections, and 4 boat connections. As far as train connections, in real life there is no real train freight that runs in Hawai'i in general, but I made one just in case anyone wants one. BUT as of now I cant get it to "connect" to the outside, but I'm working on that too. There is no ore or agri-land for now but I will add as I update the map or you can add yourself using Surface Painter mod. I highly recommend using Ultimate Eye Candy and Relight to adjust the lighting as it is a bit bright with out them and to adjust the Sun to go in the right direction, but not required. I will post up a one click (recommended) collection of mods and assets collection very soon.

Like I said i will still update the map as well as screenshots and descriptions, but as of now, here ya'll go and hope you enjoy, and Thank you everybody for your support! Mahalo and Aloha!

@DestroyAllFlashlights Yea its been a minute since I went in and updated this map, but I'm currently working on a few maps for release for CS1 at the moment and updating this map is one of them. I more than likely will release the updated version of this map around the summer with a new theme new roads trees and everything. I released this map just for players who can use mods and have heavy PC performance, but as for the theme and resources you might need Extra Landscaping Tools Mod to add farmland and such, and Environment Changer Mod to add the Polynesia Theme to the map and to switch the main temp from Temperate to Tropical if needed. Both mods are by Bloody Penguin. I would also recommend Theme Mixer 2 if you want multiple themes and textures of land like the real Hawai'i, but thats only if your computer can handle it. I've been trying to use it, but a few things I don't like about it and am trying to fix is... There's no farmland, while the Hawaii islands are fertile. The map theme for me when downloaded is temperate too, so I cannot use the Polynesia theme unfortunately. I love how the actual shape/terraforming turned out though!

@theno45 Thanks brah! I too used to live on Oahu for almost 10 years, its my second home so making this map was special to me

@:) you don't NEED a terabyte, it is recommended to run it as smooth as possible with all the trees ,buildings and such. Plus with my computer specs as high as they are I wouldn't know how it would run on less than that, but I'll change the description to "recommended for high performance pcs"
