Jushdrug's Vehicle Enhancements

Description
Enhancement Mod for Vanilla cars.
This Mod Consists of small config and script changes but greatly enhances driving experience without turning everything into a race car.
It only changes engine power and gear ratios of the Humvee. All others remain unchanged but feel much qiucker anyways.

Changes include:
- Steering: Much better responsiveness of streering across the board. It does however not resolve the understeering issues caused by loss of grip. Great upgrade regardless.
- Humvee Engine: Actually drivable now.
- 4x refueling speed.

Humvee:
Better tourqe for lower and mid-range RPM so it's not so whimpy anymore.
New gear ratios for the first two gears (Exactly the same as real life now).
shifts at higher RPM now (was 1600 -> became 1700). And yes it's still an automatic.

Truck:
Steering gets easier when going faster. Used to make it harder.

All others:
Better steering responsiveness. That's it.

Do you allow this mod to be included in Server Packs?

@LOST the cars aren't going to have infinite grip. Cars in real life also don't steer well while Breaking or accelerating. This mod makes the steering wheel turn faster so that the car properly reacts your inputs which is a prerequisite for good and responsive steering. I don't know a better mod for the under steering issue.

I use this mod 'bettertrack', but despite it anyway the cars continue to slide terribly, on the asphalt the same. Do you know perhaps a better mod for eliminating understeer? In your mod the wheels turn faster, but so what, as the wheels turn, and the car still glides forward for a while having the wheels turned to turn. It's still understeering.

@LOST there is a mod called BetterTrac that works together perfectly with my mod. It gives cars better grip on the road.

Thanks for the permission and for the information on mod modification.
Your mod is very good, the cars really became unrecognizable, especially the truck, thanks again for your work.

I assume you mean to ask permission to repack this into a modpack. Why don't you just use a collection or make this a dependency for your mod. After all this would get you updates.

Never the less, this is just some config(text) file use it how you wish.

You can also make your own changes. ARMA3 Tools even has a version of Cfgconvert with a GUI if your'e not comfortable using powershell.
