Mega Man X Dive Chronological Events *UPDATED*
By Raven
Chronological order of events that help make the story make sense, or at least as much as possible given the restraints of the game itself. Each event needs to be cleared 4x to get all rewards (3x on normal, 1x S ranking hard/challenge), I leave that to the player to decide how much they want to invest in each event. Just doing the event once should be fine, as some of these events do tie in to the main story progression at certain periods.

This is updated to fix some previous errors and also to make it less grindy in the early game for when to start, because it did take a fair amount of grind to be powerful enough to do the events in order early on (you can always jump to Maleficent Hero to cheese easy event currency, but you'll have a story of meeting Mega Man Volnut before you actually did).

PLEASE if you find any errors with this timeline/story, let me know. I do understand that the xmas event should be in stage 13, but yeah. There just wasn't enough events between the mega man NT event and that one to hit stage 13. The ending is already loaded with events at every stage.

"Children's Day! Mega Man X Powered Up" should be done before 22-1 not after. story with iCO and ViA don't make sense doing it after area 22

All good. You are doing us a great service.

Sorry people, I know I am quite late at noticing this, but "Summon the dark blue hunter!" should be done after 20-6, as the game outright tells you to go do that mission. Also it might be slow, but I'm currently working out an alternate way to run these events. If you do the events as I have them outlined, they make sense chronologically, but after looking into things I realize that the online version had varying levels. Meaning, for this they took that out and just have everything on max level for the events (hence why you need battle power of ~300k). Unfortunately, that also means you steam roll most of the game once you can do events. I'm trying to work out a way that feels satisfactory to play, while keeping the story difficulty in mind.

...Man. I really dislike that special events are part of the main storyline. Thank you for this guide

That's an amazing work! Thank you!

I would use the original online version's scaling to help determine placement of the storyless events. Nebula Joy is already making their own events and may be scaling old ones up.

One more thing: I realized that after the Dragoon fight, RiCO notices Via had gone missing again, so another viable spot for 'Air Pirate Servbot' is between 10-6 and 11-1. Also, Halloween Scare event is up on Global and at max difficulty is WAY more possible than, say, Summer Treasure Hunt. People were right about later event stages scaling higher, so I believe this may impact the optimal order of things. Hope that doesn't put too much more pressure on ya! ;)

Of course, everything I've said is under the assumption that the Hard Mode / Challenge stages are being omitted from the picture. I figure if someone included those in their journey, they'd have *much* more leeway in when to do each event. You do you, though, and hope you're doing fine! :)

I think the events with no dialogues could probably be treated as non-canon as long as other stages don't reference them
