I love Starfield for what it is instead of hating it for what it is not. After 8 years and 13000 hours(!!!) in Elite Dangerous I really appreciate something, that I consider the polar opposite of Elite. That's not to say Elite is a bad game, nor is outer wilds. Both are brilliant but completely different games. You can't "just" have all in one and the same cake. You simply can't (and shouldn't) compare liverwurst with marmalade.

What is immersion killing for me is a complete disregard to physics and cosmology in most games. Planets are pretty freaking far apart. You don't just "fly" to them in a few minutes. I prefer Starfield's approach. Most planets aren't capable of supporting life, either. Starfield is incredibly generous in giving about 10% of the 1000 places to visit with breathable atmospheres. Yes, there is a lot of empty planets and moons in Starfield, as there SHOULD be. What the heck do they teach in school these days? I think that Starfield was an amazing template for Bethesda to build off of, which is what they intend to do.

Tired of all of the crapping on Starfield. I'll stick with Starfield thank you very much. You can do SO MUCH more in Starfield and you call it immersion killing? Whatever.
