"The models were all done in Blender, as was the character mesh. The individual parts are actually transparent PNGs drawn in Krita, one for each body part, plus one for each different pose her eyes, hands or mouth could be in. Those were later converted to image sequences whose offsets can be keyframed to make the face and hand poses move independently.
