So thank you, Wrecx, thank you so much for making this, you made true art out of some kid's hobby project, you genuinely put a smile on my face, and scared me multiple times.
Yet you can still see how whoever was making these put genuine soul and a bit of love into every story, there was genuine love in there, and the people who continued the series after its original creator ended it clearly also had a lot of soul.
And then we reach 2023, where you come out of absolutely nowhere with what is possibly one of the best custom stories I've ever played, with genuine love and passion, genuinely good scripting and amazing level design, and I'm just stunned. This ALL started because one argentine kid decided to make a funny mod for the spooky game now 11 years ago, it's genuinely astonishing.
I remember way back when the first one was released, saw the god of spanish-speaking youtube, Fernanfloo, play it. It was the first and only time he played Amnesia, but it made me fall in love with it, instantly, hell, the moment I got the game the first thing I did was look for it on ModDB, and it felt so weird, but also so rewarding, like I'd finally achieved something that I never could have done as a child.
It's honestly hard to think that, in another universe, this series that marked my childhood and singlehandedly sold me on Amnesia could have easily become lost media, if one guy hadn't reuploaded it, I and millions of other people wouldn't've ever been able to play it.
thats real
i still have some unfinished projects, maybe ill finish them someday, as well as remaster existing ones
