So you may have noticed that any csgo props look like this now. Well that's because the latest greatest complete mess of matchmaking has been released and replaced csgo.

how to do it
simply,
right click Counter-Strike 2 in your steam library
click Properties > Betas
(yes this means that you would have to switch back if you want to play actual cs2)
demo viewer includes cs2 my bad
it will then download like 27gb of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so enjoy waiting for that to finish
when you finish, open gmod, make sure you have csgo actually mounted, and you should be done

***idk if anyone's gonna drop csgo assets or where to find somewhere that has them but I'd imagine that would be easier than switching back and forth with cs2 and the demo viewer. I threw together this guide real quick just so people who don't know where to start have a method to atleast get csgo mounted.

So there will be an option to choose to play CS2 or CSGO when we launch CS2???

its csgo_legacy now in the beta tab.

It has been reported that the "csgo_demo_viewer" beta includes CS2 too.
So there seems to be no need to switch back and forth from the beta if one wants to play CS2.
