Tec 9 Ice Cap - Patterns Guide
By please unblock me babe :(
This guide provides an in-depth breakdown of the 3 different types of patterns I identified on the Tec-9 Ice Cap, providing not only the variations available but lists of the top tier paint seeds as well as the guidelines I followed when ranking them.

Introduction
I will begin by stating that this guide serves as almost an "expansion" of this guide created by C.Snack. Although I did not agree with every ranking or the method for breaking down tiers, I will be using the term "blue ice" (coined by C.Snack) to describe patterns with the maximum amount of solid dark blue. If you are interested in learning more about the "blue ice" patterns, the guide above may be able to provide more insight as well as more patterns you may prefer.

! DISCLAIMER !

Although I have looked at every pattern for this skin, there is a very high chance I either missed one or placed one below or above where you think it belongs. This guide is not some sort of final say on the quality or value of anything, more of just a helpful tool for fellow goofballs who like random patterned skins :)

Pattern Template
The pattern template below shows the possible patterns that can show up on the final skin. The 3 variations are all based on 3 separate sections of the template.

(The attached image has had color correction so that the reader may more accurately infer what parts of the template appear where)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Snow Cap
The first variant that will be showcased is the Snow Cap. Snow Cap patterns have an excess of plain white or mostly plain white coloring on the body of the gun. Factoring in the size of the blemish, for each section with a blemish (left third, center, right third) the skin was knocked 1 tier. Tier 4 skins have the most interference inside the white sections and tier 1 skins have the least.

Blue Ice
The next variant I will cover is the Blue Ice pattern. Blue Ice patterns are patterns that have a body that is entirely blue, with no splotches of lighter blue or white. Tier 1 patterns have a perfectly blue body, with tier 2 having one light blue spot, tier 3 having several light spots and tier 4 having a large discrepancy interrupting the blue pattern.

Fade
The final variant showcased is the fade pattern. A perfect fade has an uninterrupted gradient from dark blue / black to white. The highest tier fades have the most white without any interfering markings and as the white decreases or the blue markings increase the tier goes down.

Final Remarks
If you made it this far, I hope you learned something new or gained a new appreciation for this goofy skin. Keep in mind this is just my opinion and is not a final say-so about any of the patterns shown / not shown. If you did enjoy this guide it would mean the world if you would like and favorite it. Thank you for your time and happy hunting! :)
