By xdxdxd
Not really a game guide but rather an analysis of Chapter 0 Cops behavior towards 3650. This is based on their use of words, voicetone and general attitude towards 36.
This is also mostly based on personal theories.
Spoiler text will be used for personal opinions and thoughts.

Friends
Those cops who actually like 3650 and get along with him.

Boss Cop/Chief Cop
Bad Cop's friend on high places. He never seems to be rude towards 36 and even gives him the chance to make up the credits he lost on his lost of control. He acknowledges 3650 worth when he tells him that he's worth 5 city cops. He not only assigns him to the outlands to make up the lost credits, but also to get him away from the city cops for a while. Not much more to say about him, what a nice guy.

2810 aka "BEC"
36's hang out buddy. Bad Cop's buddy who's also a main character in Entropy Zero - Uprising. BEC is a CP officer with a critical mind, he opens the vent gates for him when he's on crab duty. Bad Cop mentions later on a dialogue with Wilson that he was one of the only people he liked and used to hang out with. He gets futher development in EZ:U and even mentions 36 during one of his dialogues with Victor-Sixty.
"Man, 36 would have a field day with you."

Like/Respect (NONE XD)
Those cops who tolerate 3650

Honorable mentions
District Six Killer: Not much is known about this individual, mentioned a couple times. Headshot Cop mention it needs an accomplice, and that 36 would be perfect for it. So they might share a few things in common. Every other cop seems to fear it, or at least Headshot Cop does.
Only times mentioned are by Headshot Cop:
"Hm... 36, you reckon the District 6 killer needs an accomplice?"
"Anyone heard whether the District 6 killer been caught yet?"
"I mean, give credit to the guy, he is good at getting away."
"I kind of envy him."
"*grumble* I hope I don't get put on shift in District 6." (most likely because of said fugitive)

Bloody: One of the main characters from Entropy Zero Uprising. EZ1 36 and Bloody never met in game or Uprising, but I feel like they could get along. Since they aren't so different, especially when it comes to morality.
Neutral
Those cops who choose to ignore or just don't mind 3650 much

Memory Replacement Cop
I wish you didn't have problems, 36.
Cop who went through his memory replaced. While being rude to him most of the times, there's a part of him that actually seems worried about 36 and his problems. But also seems very unhappy about 36's attitude towards the other officers, calling him an "a$$hole" due to his rude behavior towards Lightbulb Cop. He seems excited about seeing 36 getting promoted, just so he goes away forever. (his wish came true)
It makes me wonder if maybe 36 was nicer, MR-Cop would actually talk more often to him.

Lightbulb Cop
Should i take that personally?
He/She is found fixing a light, Bad Cop immediately insults him/her by calling him/her an idiot. However he/she doesn't seem to be affected by this, so it's probably not the first time 36 roasts him/her. He/She decides to ignore him, when his/her co-workers talk he/she'll usually tell them to shut up.
This Cop can randomly spawn as a female or male, and spawn with the lights off or on.
Internally known as COP_lightfixer
Subtitle color is a greyish light blue
Not in the credits.
Seems to use modified citizen lines, therefore should be voiced by John Patrick Lowrie (Male) and Mary Kae Irvin Lindsey (Female)

Neutral Cop
Sometimes i think you're a little too loyal.
Neutral Cop doesn't seem to hate or like 36. But he does seem bothered whenever 36 tries to talk with him, he also doesn't like 3650's loyalty excess and that he gets most credits, he thinks it makes them look bad. He's the first cop you meet during the introduction. 21 owes him money.
Internally known as COP_Dumbass_1_real
Subtitle color is yellow, not to be confused with Interrogator Cop or Crooked Cops
Not in the credits.
Voiced by 1upD

Manhack Cop
Not a word about this incident, 3650.
A cop who's seeing manipulating a manhack, he messes up the wires and the manhack goes crazy. He tells 36 to not tell anyone about this, probably cause he informed about other incidents in the past. And got his credits lowered, but out of that they don't seem to have much relation and are probably neutral to each other most of the time.
Internally known as COP_Jailer2
Subtitle color is light blue, not to be confused with C0 3650, Watch Cop or Breadman
Known as Fixer Cop in the credits
Voiced by Breadman

Watch Cop
He'll start talking when we cook his head, they always do.
This cop is seen observating an interrogation to a citizen, he doesn't show any negative or positive emotions towards 36 so they probably barely know each other.

Subtitle color is light blue, not to be confused with C0 3650, Manhack Cop or Breadman

Monitor Cop
Only seen watching a monitor besides Elite Cop, has no direct interaction with 36.

Cop interrogating a citizen while being observed by Watch Cop, has no direct interaction with 36.
Unit number might be 1226 as mentioned by GunCop.
Internally known as COP_Interrogator_1
Subtitle color is yellow, not to be confused with Neutral Cop or Crooked Cops.

Squad Cops
Affirmative.
Don't move.
603, unlawful entry.

3650's squad during the ending of Chapter 0 and beginning of EZ1. Their relationship seems purely professional, they follow his orders regardless of his reputation, and make sure to not screw up their chances to get their desired perks.
Internally known Met1, Met2 and Met3
Subtitle color is white, not to be confused with BEC or the citizens.

Honorable mentions
21: Mentioned only, we don't know him much but from voicelines we can say he's the one covering Bad Cop's patrol and used to be in social care, he also owes money to Neutral Cop. He's most likely covering him since 36 was running late.Maybe 21 did it as a volunteer?
Victor-Sixty: As said with BEC in Uprising. They could make a good team and maybe even get along. However they never meet eachother or even don't probably know about each other existence.
Dislike/Hate
Those cops who don't tolerate, dislike or straight up hate 3650

Door Cop
You know no one respects you, right?
Door Cop is often rude, he doesn't like 36 being near him and every attemp of interacting with him will result in a "Go away".
Internally known as COP_Doorman
Subtitle color is dark orange
Known as Doorman Cop in the credits

Exposed Cop
Has anyone ever told you you're a freak?
Exposed Cop seems to have a story with 36 already. As he probably has been ratted out by 36 before, they don't like each other at all and often will insult each other. He thinks of Bad Cop as the "Teacher's pet"
Internally known as COP_StrollingCop_1
Subtitle color is light green

Rules Cop
Breaking the Code 46 dash 12 doesn't make you smart, it makes you reckless.
Rules Cop is annoyed by 36's behavior and his constant rule breaking. He doesn't like talking to 36 and often reminds him of the rules he keeps breaking.
Internally known as COP_RuleCop
Subtitle color is dark tan
Known as Rule Cop in the credits (i almost get this one)

Headshot Cop
Come to the firing range later, maybe you could help me with my headshot aim.
Mostly sarcastic towards 36. He actually seems to have a little bit some respect for 36, Acknowledging his aim skill, but this could also imply he would shoot 36 if he sees him in the shooting range. Also seems to fear him a bit, as he worried about 36 not feeling remorseful after beating citizens and him carrying a gun around, afraid of what he could do with it.
Internally known as COP_DarkChecker
Subtitle color is light red, not to be confused with Elite Cop.
Known as District 6 Cop in the credits

Ladder Cop
We're not friends pal, now beat it.
Ladder Cop thinks of Bad Cop as "King suckup". He's rude to 36 and will tell him to get lost, however 36 will never respond to him, ignoring his insults.
Internally known as COP_lightreplace
Subtitle color is dark purple.
Known as Ladder Cop in the credits. (i got this one right at least)

Cop Couple
Left Cop: Better keep your voice down, i think that's 3650.
Right Cop: How's that boot taste?
This couple is found on hallway, and are implied to be dating. The left cop seems to be fearful of 36 at first but later insults him, the right cop thinks of him as a bootlicker as many other cops do. They both dislike him and Bad Cop dislikes them back. After a few lines they'll tell 36 to go away.

If you go to the ladder room and then come back you can hear a little secret dialogue
Left Cop: Hey, uh... Are we still meeting outside your block?
Right Cop: Shut up... 3650 might hear us.
Left Cop: You know what? Forget it,
Left Cop walks away
Right Cop: Penny!
Left Cop: Good luck on your patrol, 3870.

If you try to talk to "Penny" after this, she'll turn her ears off. If you try to talk to 3870, he'll stay silent. This brings up some questions, why would they keep their meetings as a secret? Is it prohibited? Would Bad Cop expose them? Is 3650 a thirdwheel? (just kidding on the last one)
Left cop subtitle color is a dark pink
Right cop subtitle is a light brown
Internally known as COP_PennyCop and COP_GunCop
Left Cop name is Penny, and Right Cop is 3870.
As a fun fact, 3870 has a (very cool) special idle animation named after him. (ez2_c0_guncop_idle)
Known as Penny Cop and Gun Cop in the credits
Penny is voiced by Leadhead
Gun Cop is voiced by LookusBookus

Broom Cop
This is why nobody likes you. You mooch, and mooch, and expect to be bailed out. F*ck you.
Found on an empty cell, 36 lost a poker game and he hasn't pay up yet. Broom Cop is annoyed and tired of Bad Cop's behavior, this and the unpayed credits are probably his main source to dislike him. He also mocks Bad Cop for being unable to get his first perk. From this list, he might be the one that dislikes him the least though as he doesn't have problems when talking to him.
Internally known as COP_MopCop
Subtitle color is light orange
Known as Mop Cop in the credits

Crooked Cops
You're a sick one, 36.
Isn't that obvious? That sick bastard killed her!
I'm gonna fudge his numbers.
36, Wait. Please, i believe you. Alright?

Bad Cop's number 1 haters. They think of him as the murder of his own kid, a sick bastard and try to sabotage him so he never gets his perk. They all seem to hate him and Bad Cop's goes crazy after they try to mess with his work. Bad Cop kills them and a door opens, revealing the cop who tried to mess with his numbers. This one seems fearful of 36 and tries to convince him of not killing him. Bad Cop doesn't listen and shoots him, leading to the end of the prologue gameplay.
Also one of them has a shotgun.
The Crooked Cops internally have the names of some developers
Crooked Cop #2/Car Salesman Cop (Shotgun Crooked) is 1upD
Crooked Cop #3 (The one right to Shotgun) is Cyonsia

@LiberTEA_Enjoyer i think it might be the addon: Extended Citizen Speech and/or the one that ads HLA combine dialogue.

I'm glad you've enjoyed it, the thing itself might be pretty bad but I had a lot of fun going through the chapter and seeing every detail I could. It's really great how much detail and effort you and the team have put into this game.

I loved reading through this. I love how you grabbed the NPC names out of hammer. You might find it fun to look at the NPC namings across EZ1 and EZ2 as a lot of them are silly/funny!

@Misfit222 that's actually a very good implication, I think I'll update this old guide and move headshot cop to dislike

Always thought the headshot cop was implying he would shoot 36 if he ever sees him on the range

Uh oh, you did bad homicide, no do that again yeh her meh.
Flaninty 20 Dec, 2023 @ 10:08pm
i wouldn't say headshot cop likes 36, he makes snarky remarks just like any other cops, and tries to come up with an excuse (a lame on at that) for 36 to leave him alone. his comment regarding his headshot aim could be some kinda insult, but even if it isn't, it doesn't make up much for his other comments
