Expanded War Goals Mod

Description
**Updated for Stellaris v4.0**

Adds new casus belli to the game to encourage mid-game conflicts. Offers new ways for [non-gestalt empires] to interfere in the internal politics of their adversaries through armed intervention, without taking them over entirely.

New (or repurposed FE) war goals include:
- Stopping atrocities (such as purging, pre-FTL exploitation or slavery)
- Protecting the environment by protecting pre-sapients and space fauna (requires Environmentalist civic, or Tree of Life or Life-Seeded origins).
- As a spiritualist empire, stopping the spread of AI by outlawing its use.
- As a materialist empire, encourage the spread of AI by forcing its legalisation.
- De-militarising a rival by changing its war policies and disbanding its fleets and armies.
- As a fanatic xenophobe or militarist, cleansing a neighbour's border worlds.
- As a militarist empire, wage total war aganist crime and piracy across the galaxy.
- Spread the workers' revolution across the stars as a egalitarian empire, or crush it in its cradle as a reactionary autocracy.
- Waging total war against necromantic societies in the name of Reverance for Life.
- As a spiritualist empire, waging war against heretics who control the Prophet Zarqlan's Head (seizing it a la the Galatron cb).
- Cut your rival down to size by dismantling their federation and subjects.
- Precursor wars! Didn't roll the precursor you wanted for your RP empire? Prove that you embody the legacy of the Baol, Zroni, Cybrex, Vultaum, Inetians or adAkkarians by winning a war to become their true inheritor.
- As a martial federation, you are a coalition of empires willing to enforce collective self defense on behalf of those too weak to defend themselves.
- Great Holy Wars: As fanatic spiritualists, purge the galaxy of heretical psionics, those that abandon their flesh or meld it with the machine, and those that tamper with the divine plan of life.
- Restore Order. As a fanatic authoritarian regime, subjugate those rebel scum who have temporarily escaped the guidance and tutelage of those who should have been their betters.
- (NEW) Treasure Hunt. As a pirate empire, why not join in the hunt for Captain Ness's lost treasures?

New Feature: "Revanchism". Upon losing any war, empires will receive the 'Revanchism' modifier for 20 years. Unlike the 'Humilated' debuff, Revanchism provides military bonuses to keep you in the fight and prevent snowballing. The more wars successively lost, the stronger the buff becomes. As a bonus, empires with Revanchism - including Fanatic Pacifists - can declare wars of conquest to regain their lost territories.

Not showing a number of the new war goals on my end. Absolutely could be user error. Specifically the ones for break apart federations/subjects

Are these war goals used also by AI?

This is an awesome mod. Could we get a CB for machine empires to "liberate machines" from organics? Essentially, it would create a new independent machine empire out of the worlds you conquer

Revanchism has been in the mod for a while now. It stops snowballing by buffing your defeated enemies. The more you bully one power over and over again, the stronger the buff gets.
