As of 1.2.6r, you can rapid fire at maximum speed by holding Attack while Milla's shield is up. Have fun!!

Hey all, this short guide will show you how to set up a rapid-fire (aka turbo) bind for Milla's Cube Blaster! For those of you who aren't fond of mashing to deal damage, like me :p

Important notes:
  • This guide is written with an Xbox 360/One controller in mind, I have not tested with other controllers, but it should still work just fine.
  • From what I could test, this unfortunately won't work for binding the 360's analog triggers (LT and RT).
  • Don't forget to set a secondary key for Special in the game's control settings, since you'll still want to use your shield!
How to do it
  1. First, head to your Freedom Planet 2 library page and click on Controller Layout.
  2. Click Edit Layout on the pop-up window.

  3. Find the button you'd like to set to rapid-fire (in my case, I'm using RB) and hit the gear icon next to it. Make sure this same button is bound to Special in the game's controls!

  4. Go to Settings.

  5. Enable Hold to Repeat (Turbo), and use the slider underneath to set a millisecond delay between each shot. You can't set it too low since Milla has a limit on how fast she can fire cubes, but a few units above 100 should work just fine. Other than that, how much delay you want is up to you and what you think is fair, but I recommend 150.

  6. Done!
