Orbital Gear is a pure PvP MP game. You search in the lobby for game servers which you join.

Before a new match begins or you died or you entering an existing match the Weapon Equipment Screen appears (click to enlarge):



Here you select your 2 weapons (mouse1 + mouse2) plus an extra (mouse3)

Note: for some Achievements you will need to choose certain weapons ...

The players are divided into 2 opposite teams: Prism and Cube.


First you choose your team and select your weapons before match.
During match you can see everytime all stats using "Tab"

After that you'll spawn on map. Especially on your team side planets (Prism left Cube right)
Now you can jump from planet to planet using the gravity in order to reach the enemy team side.
On some planets there stand buildings which can be destroyed by you.
They are also symbolized by squares in the top screen.



Two topics are to be done:

• Destroy all the enemy team's buildings.
  
• Protect your own buildings by killing incoming enemy players.

For every kill you collect powerblocks
You can use them to repair damaged buildings of your team
(stand on building press "E") or
to concentrate on your homeplanet (big one in the middle of your side
with your faction icon.

If you add the powerblocks too your homeplanet a percentage bar
above the symbolized buildings will raise.



You and your team wins if all enemy buildings are destroyed or
your percentage bar has reached 100%.
Then a super weapon in the background will annihilate the other team.
(It's just a little explaination)

There are 12 achievements in total.

Some you can unlock automatically during gameplay.
For some it's recommended to play it with your friends to unlock them quicker
and some need to be gained over several hours of gameplay ...

Killer

Description: This one should be clear. Get the most kills in a match
not just on your team. Check your stats during match with "Tab".

Support

Description: Idk this one exactly. Assists are normally attempts to kill other players.
But I got it afaik for making the most damage on buildings during a match.

Shield

Description: It turns out, that projectiles can be everything solid except the
energy beams or phase orb. Best weapon I found out for this is the nail gun.



The name of the achievement is confusing because you also have an extra called "Shield"
and another achievement using this extra ("Barrier").

Barrier

Description: You must choose the extra "shield" from the Weapon Equipment Screen.
Easiest way is to find a player that shoots with the missile weapon on you.
Place the shield between him and you and it will start to count.

Explosives Expert

Description: This one I really liked. You must choose the extra "mines"
from the Weapon Equipment Screen.



Then you'll be able to drop mines (mouse3) into space. 3 times x 3 mines = 9 Mines
After twice reloading the extra in 10 sec you can drop another 9 + 9 mines (max 27)



The mines are nearly invisible to the enemy, but also just temporarly.
You have to renew them every 30 secs. If an enemy gets hit by about 10 mines
he will die of them. You can support the death with the flamethrower.
After 10 kills done with the mines you'll get the achievement.

Euthanasia

Description: I'm unsure with this one. Got it by random when a teammate shoot
with a phase orb on me and killed me in space. You need to be off the planet surface
when you die, maybe jump.

Vendetta

Description: Find another player and kill him 3 times in a row. If you are lucky a noobie
is always running into your gunfire. If not, ask a friend to do it together.

Death from above

Description: One of the achievements you do better with 2 friends together.
Let them stand nearby the same place and jump above them and kill both with
one shot from the air. (flamethrower for example)

Quantum Pusher

Description: One of the achievements you do better with 2 friends together.
The Gauntlet is a certain weapon which you must choose in the Weapon Equipment Screen
(left mouse or right mouse)



The Gaunlet uses a charging mode when you keep the mouse button pressed.
If you release a circle of 1cm diameter will be hit. Ensure that your both enemies (friends)
are in that circle. Then the achievements should unlock.

Volt Bringer

Description: One of the achievements you do better with 2 friends together.
The Discharger is a certain weapon which you must choose in the Weapon Equipment Screen
(left mouse or right mouse)



The Discharger throws a straight lightning beam by mouse click. Ensure that your enemies (friends) stand in line to hit them both (maybe on a nearby planet). Then the achievements should unlock.

Destroyer

Description: It's just a matter of time when you'll reach this achievement.
Destroy 100 buildings in Warefare (also solo in a self hosted game)

Obliberator

Description: It's just a matter of time when you'll reach this achievement.
Frag 100 Players in Deathmatch or Warefare..
