Metroid Prime Pickups drop from NPCs

Description

When you kill any NPC using the Metroid Prime SWEP, it will drop entities from the Metroid Prime Spawnable Entities addon. Some notes:

Only entities above a certain maximum health threshold will be eligible to drop pickups. The default minimum is 25, excluding exceptionally weak enemies such as Headcrabs.
There is a category in the tool menu's Metroid Prime tab, the same tab where you'll find the options for the original Metroid Prime SWEP, which allows this threshold to be customized.
NPCs will only drop pickups that you need. It won't drop a pickup that restores 20 missiles if you're only missing 5, and it won't drop health pickups if your Power Suit's Energy is full.
NPCs with higher maximum health will drop more pickups. An Antlion will only drop one, a Zombie or Metrocop will drop two, a Combine Soldier will drop three, and a Combine Elite will drop four. This is done using a carefully crafted reverse-exponential function, so it adapts to drop a suitable number of pickups from any NPC, but won't spawn a problematic number of items if you kill something with extremely high maximum health.
Works with NPCs from VJ Base.
You can set a multiplier for how many pickups NPCs will drop. You can make it so every NPC drops ten times as many pickups as it normally would, or you can make it so that they'll drop half as many (eligible NPCs will always drop at least 1 pickup though).
Pickups will only drop if there's at least two different options for what could drop. So if you're undamaged and only missing a single Missile, you can't just kill an enemy for a guaranteed Small Missile Ammo. If you're missing enough missiles that a Small Missile Ammo or a Medium Missile Ammo could drop, though, you'll get one of the two. This mechanic can be disabled by turning on Easy Mode in the tool menu.
The Charge Beam has a tractor beam effect that can draw in nearby pickups. This is a feature of the Metroid Prime SWEP & Spawnable Entities addons, not something I added, but it's worth keeping in mind.

it's still persisting with Easy mode config, and is on by default.
Also, is there any drop for Power Bombs?

otherwise, it's an all-around fantastic addon for the SWEP. Grabbed it to play through the HL1 campaign, and it's amazing QoL for making a lot of the SWEP's features actually accessible in a standard playthrough.

hear me out, what if it rarely drops upgrades as well. i thought it would be cool using this with the Simple Horde Mode addon, but it kinda sucks that i would need to manually make the upgrades for me to use

i just wanted to chime in and say that this mod was super nice and almost essential for playing through either HL2 or HL1 with the Metroid SWEP. Thank you so much.

Would be perfect if it didn't start in Easy Mode by default, and if it saved configurations across sessions. Needing to manually open the settings and configure them every time I load a map gets annoying, but it's such a fantastic mod for playing through Half-life's campaigns with the Metroid SWEP I can't go without it.
