Kucham Khan Siberian Khanate Guide
By Brm and 1 collaborators
Are you tired of useless snow and tundra tiles? How about land units that move after attacking? How about a building that provides food and extra from sources? Then the Siberian Khanate is the Civ for you! Led by Khucham Khan, the Siberian Khanate is ready to conquer. The Khanates Unique Ability, Hit and Run Tactics, allows land combat units to retreat after attacking. (Exception of Seige Units) This gives the Siberian Khanate an edge when fighting foes. The Khanates Unique Unit, the Siberian Khight can move after attacking and has combat bonas in rough terrain. This unit ignores the terrian cost of the attack. The Khanates Unique Building, the Yaranga, provides +2 food and +1 extra food from sources. With a military that can use hit and run tactics, the Siberian Khanate can conquer easily. This guide will show you how to play, conquer, and expand as the Siberain Khanate

(NOTE: THIS IS A GUIDE FOR A MOD. TO UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPTS OF THIS GUIDE, YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE SIBERIAN KHANATE MOD IN THE STEAM WORKSHOP!)

Siberain Growth
To start out, I recommend a snow/tundra based map. This will allow you to have a surplus of food and allow faster city growth.

Short History Lesson on Kucham Khan:

The Siberian Khanate is led by Kucham Khan. Born around the 1550's, Kucham contested the throne of the Siberian Khanate against his older brothers. After assuming the thron of his brothers untimely death, Kucham led raids against Perm and then against the Tsar of Russia. After being captured by the Russians after years of resistence, Kucham was killed in 1605. Kucham's descents remained in Muscovy and converted to Christanity. After this, Kucham's descendants became part of the Russian Nobility.

The Siberian Khanate's has access to its Unique Ability, Hit and Run Tactics allows land units to retreat after they attack a target. This ability is revoked for siege units. (NOTE: SEIGE UNITS ARE BIG AND CANT MOVE!) This unique ability allows the Siberian Khanate to field a lot of units and can also keep more land units alive longer than others.

The Siberian Khanate has access to thier Unique Unit, the Siberain Knight. A powerful ranged unit that can move after attacking like all units in the Khanate, but also has combat bonas in rough terrain. I also recommend not only choosing a tundra/snow map but also a map with lots of rough terrain (Hills, Forests, Jungles, etc..)

The Siberian Khanate has acces to its Unique Building, the Yaranga. This building gives +2 Food and +1 extra Food from sources, and +1 Food from Tundra/Snow Tiles (NOTE: SOURCE FOOD TILES: WHEAT, BANANAS, ETC..) This allows your cities to grow faster than any other Civ's, giving the Siberian Khanate an advantage in city growth above the AI.

As for Victories, I don't recommend any to go for. As for Policies, go for Tradition to get extra border growth in your cities. Now you know how to dominate your foes but running/hitting them and how to expand, conquer, and play as the Siberian Khanante.

I like the fact that people are doing more mod guides, and this is one I haven't seen before. In the fact that I follow a similar style, I appreciate the history in it, along with the breakdown of things. My only recommendation is to use the "Table of Contents" option to split your points more so it's easier to sort through them. But overall, I like the cut of your jib!
