Start MGS2

Start MGS2

After starting MGS2, you will be met with this screen, press "START"

Afterwards, select "OPTIONS"

Then, select "BUTTON SETTINGS"

(You will then be met with this screen, now you can change your preferred controls)

Available Options are:

XBOX

PLAYSTATION (PS4)

NINTENDO PRO CONTROLLER

DUAL SENSE CONTROLLER (PS5)

Have fun experiencing (or re-experiencing) Metal Gear Solid 2!

Circle should have been the confirm button.. or at least give me the option.. i keep pressing circle to confirm bcs im on original G

My Home Screen doesn’t look like this and I don’t have this option. Any idea why?

@xj220_afiles from what i understand, it seems to be an issue with the laucher for mgs2 and mgs3. Best bet is to wait for a patch to fix the issue.

I do that and each time i quit and restart the game, they are back to default xbox. Any idea why ?

Yea Well inexpensive in say the US but it's like $400 - $500 where Im from.

@Messy Jesse ™, from what i can tell, you cannot rebind controls, maybe try using external programs such as DS4Windows to remap, if all else fails i recommend getting another gamepad. they seems to be pretty inexpensive nowadays.

Question good sir, can I re-configure controls ? my LT is a hunk of crap and sticks in place and or sends false signals and brings out my equipment bar and is very annoying. I am just screwed and need a new controller?
