Swerve Strickland signed with AEW in 2022 and initially formed Swerve in Our Glory with Keith Lee. The duo won the AEW World Tag Team titles within a few months and had several strong defenses before imploding before the end of the year.

Swerve formed Mogul Affiliates, a short-lived stable that merged with Prince Nana's Embassy to form Mogul Embassy.

Alongside Nana, Swerve has begun his ascent towards the top of the card, earning a major win over former AEW World Champion Hangman Page and getting high profile matches against the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi and Daniel Bryan.
